I just finished the serpent wall puzzle using the symbols I found on the boat in a bottle. I didn't hear any sounds and nothing seems to have happened. I just looked at a wt and it says to click on a lever gear. What lever gear, I don't see any. The only lever I saw was on the stove pipe and that only opened the back door. I don't see any lever near the puzzle. I hope this isn't a bug in the game, it's worked fine until now. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="confused.gif" />

Did you press the star symbol and see 2 circular puzzle?

You might have entered the wrong symbols on the mouth of the serpents. If done correctly you should automatically see a machinery with a lever.

Check the symbols you entered. wave

Here's what I did. I pressed the star symbol & the screen changed to the two puzzles. I pressed the center button in the left puzzle until the dragons mouth was on the fancy looking W. I pressed the center button in the right puzzle until the dragons mouth was on the symbol that looks like a plus sign + and nothing happened. What am I doing wrong?

I will check my game and see. Have you looked close at the bottle at Whale world?

Be back.

Since this part is the start of the end game - every thing should be done already. All clues accumulated. Read the wt if there's any you missed.

When correctly done, the panel slides away to see a machine like setup. This is where you pull the lever on the right side.

Check to see if your solve is like this:

If so - you missed something prior to this - specifically the clues to the sea serpent puzzles.

Hi Mag,

Thanks for the help. I will go back and check again. Looking at your picture, this is what I did and nothing happened. I found the binoculars and spoke to Hilda and went to the Whale World and looked at the ship in the bottle through the binoculars, then went to the lighthouse and tried the puzzle, but can't get it to work. I don't know what I could be missing.

Hi Mag,

Still couldn't get that panel to slide, so I started the game from the beginning. I'm up to the card puzzles at the Hot Kettle Cafe. I'll let you know if it works this time when I get to it. Does everything have to be done in an exact order? After looking at the walkthrough, I'm sure there were things I did in a different order, but ended up with all the information I needed when I got to that serpent puzzle. Maybe this time it will work.

One of the primary triggers in this game is calling Casey a second time. Be sure you have done that, then read the e-mail he sent.

Sorry I missed your post yesterday.

It doesn't have to be in order most of the game but I think that this puzzle since it is the start of the end game has to have all the clues done. There are puzzles that cannot be triggered because the reason to do them was not talked about or shown in the game.

Good luck and keep us posted!

Hi Mag & Tally Ho,

I just finished the game and this time the serpent puzzle worked. I still don't know why it didn't work the first time. I didn't see anything that I missed the first time around. It was a fun game, loved the Orca and I got my award certificate at the end. happydance
Just got "Black Mirror" and can't wait to try it. wave
