Same place that I'm stuck at too Can't seem to go anywhere different after that Merrick the Warrior game. Need to get money for the jetpack so we can go across the desert? Any ideas?

Ok Kim, now I'm at the Desert House. Lots to do if only they would let us do it. Found key but cant pick it off the chain to use. Frustrating. Taps too but what to do?

I've been all over the map several times. Desert house needs water. I can tell you how to get the key off the monolith thing. You need another key. Let me know if you want me to tell you where it is.

What do you have in inventory?

I give. Where is the other key. I have a diary, a jet pack and a tumbler in my inventory and I am getting airsick with all the air miles that I am accumulating

I hear ya on the frequent flyer miles thing.
There is a square key inside the first room of the house,turn left and look on the wall. That releases the key that opens the hatch.

I have a crate with some berries in it, a nutshell and the tumbler is now filled with this algae stuff,and an empty spray bottle.

Used the key to open a 'manhole' but can't seem to progress any further. What am I missing?

This is where I am stuck also. I think we need a light source? maybe. There seem to be a lot of things to do in and around the house to get the water flowing, I just don't know what yet. Let me know if you are able to progress.

Arghh. Frustrating it is. You have items in your inventory that I don't.....crate, nutshell, algae and spray bottle. Where did you find them? I'll keep trying to figure out this Desert house. All other areas are at a dead end right now. Do you know what tune we are supposed to play at Nelhi?

Yes I know. At the market, when you approach the fruit stand, you'll hear the four notes. If you want more specifics I'll be glad to help. You'll find a lot of stuff on Nelhi.

Kim, Nelhi is awesome. Got everything you have except the nutshell. Have you been to Dr. Jakhars house and have you been able to figure out the entrance code?

So glad you're there. The nut shell is on the ground in the same area you picked up the crate. The one with the camp fire thing.

I have found two sets of numbers for Dr.Jakhars. The first opens the entry door, then there are more number pads. I have the second set, but not the third. I've looked everywhere! There maybe some kind of formula to figure out the third, as both sets add up to 18. Don't know if this is a coincidence or not. I've tried a hundred different things, but no luck. If you want I'll tell you where you can find the numbers. Let me know!!

Good morning Kim, I found the nutshell but do you have any hints as to where the numbers are? Are they at the bar? There are so many hotspots left undone in this game it is beginning to get to me. I am really enjoying the game but it could be so much more enjoyable if it would tie itself together a bit more.

I've been playing this for a little while now, and I finally broke down and decided to ask. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="tongue.gif" />

1) Who is the guy asking for help at the Spaceport (at the elevator), and where is he located?

2) At the Market, how to you acquire the jetpack and get to the desert house?

3) Is there anything to do at Pod (other than ride the elevator)?

Where I am stuck now is making me crazed. I don't see what else you can do. I have played that game with the kid several times now, and I was hoping an event would trigger. Oh well.

Btw, I think I am sick of riding up and down all of the elevators in this game. hehe

All three questions are sequential when you cause the first to happen. After you have talked to Naoo at the spaceport bar about getting a drink (get one and keep the glass). Then go down to the second floor and you should hear someone ask for help. Do the actions and it should lead to you getting the jet pack and then you will figure out what to do at the pod once you have the jet pack.

I actually had the empty tumbler in my inventory (the glass you speak of) prior to posting. Even with having it, and having heard the cry for help, I am still stuck. As far as acquiring the jetpack is concerned, nothing new has triggered.

When you hear the cry for help on the second floor, get off the elevator and go to the crates around to the right(?) and you will see the market mans brother lying on the ground.

Kim, found the two numbers and now at the third control panel. Searched everywhere for the third number. There are 228 combinations left to enter the control panel. Don't think that that is efficient. Any luck in finding that third combination?

No, I'm fresh out of ideas. Do you think there is a pattern to the numbers? Some sort of logical progression?

I'm staring at these numbers and nothing jumps out at me. Trying combinations but no success. Perhaps the third combo is in some area we haven't unlocked yet....

It just means that the cursor indicates there is something to do there but I can't for the life of me figure out what it is. This game is very linear in the sense that actions and inventory must trigger ability to do further action. I am currently "flying" all over this games maps and can't seem to unlock anything further. Deadend.

Maybe down that hatch at the Desert House, or that boiling pot at Kahleena's...so many places that are hot spots but not the right inventory piece. I've been everywhere over and over,AGH!

I've been looking at screenshots from different sites (of course GB's has the most) trying to see something to get a clue. You could take a look and perhaps see something I didn't.

I am sure it is not Deadend! Do you like the game so far? Just wonder because I am one of developers

Love the game! A lot of traveling, but very interesting locations to visit. A very big game.

Hi again, and yes I do like the game. The deadend factor is just due to my own inability to think through it, I'm sure. There are number of actions I need to figure out how to do including: the desert house water, the underground passage, Dr. Jakars third combo number, Roys crash site, cauldron at Khaleens, spinning wheel, fire up at Nelhi....That's what makes the game that much more interesting.

Great to hear I was responcible for 3D including subway and underwater palace. I would really like to help you but I haven't played game yet! I live in Estonia so it will take time before I receive it.

When in Nelhi, and at the 'barrels' in the tree, instead of going right through the 'gate' to go down, take the barrel on the left and you will go up.

Okay, I think I am caught up with everyone now. Manx, thx for the tip to find the man calling for help. I didn't even bother moving the cursor in that direction.

I am at Dr. Jakar's now. I too am stuck at the keypad to the door. I have to go back to the desert house and figure out what I need to do there still.

If you go back to Bock, the guy that sells produce to the merchant at the Market (via the bioport), give him the nutshell and he will tell you what it is.

It is a cracklenut shell and some animal likes it (I forgot the name of the animal he said) and that he usually sells them, but they are out of season.

Sidenote: I went back to the market to see if the produce merchant knew anything about the cracklenut, or had any. Don't waste your time doing this because he relays the same, old information.

How did you get them. I think we could use them in the underground passage.

I clicked the berries on the crate in inventory, and then went to the place where I got the berries - there's some bugs there. Clicked the crate on the hotspot and got some bugs.

Ok. The crate of berries and glowbugs can be placed at the bottom of the cavern at the desert house but nothing else happens. Need something else, perhaps an empty lantern from Nelhi???

Also, I spoke to the market stall guy about the nut and he told me to go to the Manduli Province.

I've found a use for the spray bottle. It can be filled with the juice from the bar.!?

Now that is just too weird. Sort of like Carnak the magnificent Now where is the Manduli province.

I'm on a roll here, boy, that was one sneaky puzzle. Get the berry juice from the bar with the spray bottle and click it on the crate of bugs.

With the cracklenut and the produce vendor at the Market, pixel hunt a little over the yellow fruit in his stand until the cursor changes color. Click then and he will tell you about the Manduli Province.

Moving along now. Found five flowers after the water was turned on at the Desert House. But the sixth one for the top of the door is still missing. I think we need a wrench (from Roy?) to turn on the outside tap for the missing plant. any ideas on that wrench?

Okay, I sprayed the passageway, the glowbugs lit up the tunnel, and I turned the wheel for the water. I went to the right and looked through the little window to see the water flowing.

I left the tunnel. I went back up to the desert house and nothing. I tried going back down into the tunnel, but the glowbugs have returned to the crate. My spray bottle is gone, and I cannot get another one from Kahleena's dock.

Manx: Where is this new key that you found, and what is the water supposed to do to cause the flowers to appear wherever they are?

It was a round "crank device" and it was on the pipe in the underground room where you turned on the water. Hope you have a saved point close by. When you go up and put the crank in the hole on the white slab, do a trip around the pond picking flowers and turning on the taps. Also inside the house turn on the spigot.

Gamehound, You missed the crank device from close by the wheel. I don't know of any way to get back there other than reloading a safe cos I did exactly the same as you the first time I went down there.

I clicked on him first of all, and then I clicked on the spanner, and he said I could take it.

Do you have all the flowers? I seem to be 1 short.

Got it. Now to get the final flower. Keep checking. Did you turn on the spigot in the house?

Yes, I got the one from the house. I used the crank again to empty the pool and when I stood at the opposite side, and clicked on the pool the cursor changed, so is the last flower in the pool?

No. They are around the pool. There is a leak at the side of the house and a plant is there. There is a tap at the front entrance, the one you can go into, and there is a tap that needs the wrench. they all have flowers. When all six are placed it opens to a room where there is something to be picked up and a hole to go down.

Gamehound, have you found the third number. It is very elusive.

Nope. Both of you are farther along than I was before I came across that glitch. I have to start anew. I will do so tomorrow.

As for now, I am about to fix myself a cocktail. Too stressful to deal with at the moment.

Okay, I started the game again. I am going to play for the next 15-20 minutes and that is it.

When you first meet up with "Nehu" he takes you to the Spaceport in his ship. Right when you get out of the vehicle you say goodbye, and there is one of those transport vehicles. I noticed it had some characters on it. Sadly, it is the same characters found on the other transport vehicle, so no bother in dealing with it.

Manx: If that metal plate is shaped like a sprocket, try using it on the otherside of the monolith at the desert house (opposite side of where the round key was found).

Yes, I found the metal plate. Use it on that big wheel underground and then put it back on the fish vessel. The blue eel will zap the fish vessel & then you can get in. The undersea journey is really nice. This is a great game.

jj7, thanks, found Getri and looking now for Folkrin. I agree with you, this is a great game. Very addictive even with its frustrating parts. Superb graphics and even the solutions seem logical.

Anyone at the point where they need to save Althera, solved the maps, got the algae/bacteria mixture and now needs to find Putak the nelhi. Where is he?

Manxman, I've visited Dr Jakar and seen the girl in the prison. I've trapped the green lizard at the house but no idea what to do now?

jj7. Does that mean you found the third number for the control panel at Jakhar's house? Where did you find it.
Have you found the room with the maps on the floor and the six prizes of Merick? You need to win each of the prizes and click on the corresponding map on the floor in order of the game.
What's the green lizard about?

Any idea who Putak the nelhi is?

Manxman, I've been clicking the maps like a lunatic for the past hour, please can you give me the sequence, my brain is fried!
The prizes have 3 buttons each, how does that work.
For the 3rd number, get in the fish vessel and look up.
If you go back to the desert house and go by the gate a lizard appears. Chase it into the house and close the shutters. It's then trapped but no idea what to do with it now.
I don't know who Putak is.

Hi Chiefette, No, the rusty plate is found on the side of the fish vessel, it has nothing to do with the big pipe with the wheel on it that turns on the water.

Exactly where can't you get? Into the tunnel at the desert house or the tunnels with the big wheel?

Hi Chiefette, Take the rusty plate to the Nehli underground caverns. There's a big spinning wheel there that you need to click the plate on.

The lizard, you can get it's venom with the vase that you pick up at the desert house...

Remember what roy said about it's venom? Now go save althera..

Im stuck with the maps/prizes also. I have no clue what those three buttons mean.

I have the game and it does not require star force or no need to type in any numbers.It is a straight orward point and click game.Have fun with it. Jimmy

Manxman posted the 3rd combination out earlier, it's in the fishbot and you have to look up.. If your screens are dark as mine it won't be visible you have to really look to see it.

Has anyone worked out how to do the map puzzle yet?

no from what manxman was saying the map puzzle may be related to the maps of the locations you visit.. but there weren't many maps, so no idea of what order they would go in..

Have you figured out the prizes with the three buttons on them? I'm thinking it would have to do with the game where you roll the dice with the kid.. but certain pedestals with the keepsakes in them have a certain amount of times the buttons can be pressed..

the other crate is in the land of nehli up in the tree with the barrel elevators..

I have no idea how to solve the map or the prizes. Clicked them all so many times last night my head hurt! I'll try and find the cracklenut this morning.

Hi GeeGee, there's another crate, a wooden one you will find at the Nheli area.

the cracklenut is exactly where it was the last time someone said it was .. at the way top of the tree where the fireplace "burnt ashes with rocks around it" looks like. Once you reach the fireplace and can't go no more further head.. do a 180 degree turn and look on the ground..

That fireplace im thinking is the "bioportal" or something. Ya have to do something with it.

If anyone saved althera why is the bioportal still open to get to the prison and what is that extra room for with the elevator and the two sides that look like air ducts opening and closing? I'm stumbled. Once althera is in bead there's another hotspot over her too .. nothing in my inventory works.

What i have in my inventory .. algae tumbler, jetpack, the key to turn the water on at the desert house and the cracklenut..

C'mon manxman come on so u can help us figure out the map/prizes puzzle so we can move on as well =) i wanna move further on before i go to work..

Problem is, it's a cracklenut shell. I think we need a real cracklenut to tempt some creature from the trees. Actually, I know we do, as I've seen the in-game movie ;o)

the wheel is once u get off the barrel elvator the one with the gate door.. head straight turn left slightly and click on the hotspot .. you'll notice something turning in front of you, my screen was dark so i didn't know if it was a big wheel or not. so I assumed it was and it was eventually.

Ah back in Nehli. Ooof. This game makes you do some travelling.

I've put a ton of miles on that jetpack this morning, but I still haven't found anything.
I think we're just going to have to wait for Manxman.

Finally solved the map room.

When the right combo of buttons is pressed for each item in the case, it will show you which map to press. Each map needs to be pressed in the correct order as shown by the kids game board.
That's Gem, knife, cup, helmet, lute? and coin.

The combos are
Gem 3322123
Lute 11332
Coin 3123
Helmet 22132
Cup ?
Knife ?

Knowing the 4 maps you can guess which the other 2 are. The correct order is:

Facing the first map as you enter and look down, that will be map #1. Going around the pillar anticlockwise, press maps 3,6,5,2,4,1

I started this game last night but I think I caught up fairly fast.
The Map puzzle...standing in front of the door in the middle of the maps count clockwise to map 5 (count map at your feet as the first). That is the Gem map and to be pushed first, count clockwise count of 2 is the knife map and pushed second, count clockwise 3 to the glass map and push, count clockwise 6 to the helmet map and push, count clockwise 4 to the harp map and push. Last is the shield map at your feet.

Cup = 1231232

Just for kicks, I want to figure out the dagger combo to get the map.

Hi, I'm back. Been at work all day unfortunately. Good to see the group has expanded. Kim, where are you? jj7,sorry I wasn't there to help with the map puzzle. It is related to the merick game with the kid at the market. I think that the buttons just roll the dice and doesn't really matter what order you press them. Just keep pressing until you 'win' and the object turns around revealing a map. If you do it in order of the game ( gem, knife, goblet, helmet, mandolin?, coin) and click on the appropriate map as it shows up then the door in the middle opens. Have you gone down and collected the dripping bacteria at the end of the tunnel past the water? It is there we hear that we need Putak (where is he). Then we can save Althera (probably) as "we can see evil but it can't see us".
Well I am off to catch up to you all. Will check back with you soon.

Btw, I think that is a lyre, but I could be wrong (the lute/mandolin instrument you are calling).

Welcome home from work Manxman, somebodys got to keep the economy going. I managed to work out the map puzzzle (see above). I've activated 2 new portals, and now I'm stuck again. I know where Putak is, and I know how to get to him, I just can't work out how!

hmm, odd. I have taken screens of all 6 maps shown in the display cases and some of them do not coincide with those on the ground.

Manxman I think all will be clear once we find the nehli guy. I reckon he's going to make us invisible so we can get past the guards and explore that area fuller. Have you rescued the girl yet?

No I have not,have you. Don't we need to find Putak first to make us invisible?

Manxman, yes, I've freed her. Take the vase and go to the desert house. Trap the green lizard by the gate, and click the vase on him to get some venom. Take that through the portal and put it on the door.
