I guess there is no way to get help for this puzzle....I have been drawing the blocks and trying to gauge my steps for each block but to no avail....the puzzle randomly regenerates...seems like I am at the end of my rope....I may be forced to stop anyway, the way it is snowing and blowing outside we may be losing power very shortly!....any ideas on getting thru this puzzle?....please, pretty please....
tks

Paul,

I'm not sure where you are but if you are at the fog walkway at the skyport area - this is how I did it and it took me only 2 tries.

Go down the ramp and look up. Map the maze and note the position of the end step based on the lamp on each side.

Go up stand on the start area and SAVE GAME! This will let you restart the maze that you already mapped. The puzzle randomizes after a fall through the fog.

The lamp on each side is at the center point of each step.

I used my mouse for control. I made a chart with the turn needed (L or R), how many slabs to walk on and very important - the lamp position that I will face when I do the turn. Remember that one click of the mouse or W key moves to one slab, it takes 3 clicks to move to middle of second slab. Using the chart and the constant check of the position of the lamp helped a lot. Good luck!

There is one further bit of advice - after you fall through five or six times, the maze will rebuild a MUCH simpler pattern, with mostly long straight legs. Much easier to map, I think.

Also, you can save at any time during your attempted crossing. No limit to the number of saves.

I used to "hate mazes," but after surviving this one, the plain old mazes will seem like a minor nuisance. laugh

Ya know, I gotta say....if it weren't for all you great Boomers and the MJ2 threads I wouldn't be anywhere in this game....the graphics are so amazing!...even the smoke from the pipe was amazing!....keep up the good work!....silly me, I never even thought of saving before starting the walkway.....and MaG, I am sorry for starting a new thread....I thought I was in the main thread....I guess I obviously clicked topic instead of reply.......
