I am currently stuck trying to leave the mine having solved the mine murders. I'm at an entrance which is partly blocked by a timber beam. Can't seem to get over it, under it or round it. The walkthroughs don't help and there isn't anything obvious to push or hold. Can anyone help?

Until another player comes along, have you looked at this particular walkthrough? It says that you need to crouch under the beam. Have you tried using the control key to crouch?
