Hi, everyone!
I've made it to Chapter 3 and am now trying to solve the 3 bowls puzzle in the tomb. So far, I've filled up the "strife" bowl and the "earth" bowl but, for the life of me, I can't figure out what to put in the "harvest" bowl. Richard is busy and Samuel doesn't want to bother either Eleanor or Louis.
There's a lock in the tomb that I probably should be doing something with, but the key to open it isn't on the keychain I swiped from Louis. Also, my cursor turns red when I run it over the contents of the drawer inside the abandoned house, but Samuel isn't interested in taking anything.
Thanks!
Susan

Hi, Jenny!
No, the kettle is still sitting there cooling off. Of course, I didn't right-click on it, so I'll give that a shot :-)!
Thanks.

Hi, MaG!
I finally solved the dreaded slider puzzle. I'm sure there's some sort of logic to solving those puzzles, but it sure escapes me. I always manage to solve them by dumb luck <G>!
I had just finished celebrating my success when I was rudely thrown out of the tomb. I eventually got back in again and Samuel was promptly beheaded. It was not a pretty picture :-)! At that point, I decided to pack it in for the night, so I'll tackle the tomb again today.

Hi, MaG!
I think you're confusing me with my husband <VBG>! I always read the instruction sheets on machines, and I usually read the game manuals, provided they're not the size of small novels.
When I resume "The Black Mirror" tonight, I'm gonna read every inscription and description in that tomb so poor Samuel doesn't lose his head again :-)!

I was complaining about the altar stones in Chapter 2, on which I worked for four days and gave up. Today my cleaning lady came in and solved it in less than five minutes. Hooray!!! Now I'm on that dreaded slider in Chapter 3. She's a whiz on those too. She'll be back in two days, but I'll keep trying in the meantime. Like Susie 07, I can't grasp the logic to them, and usually solve it my dumb luck. I just love this game. Teddo
