Hi Reenie, I'm glad you liked Four Horsemen. The developer is Five BN, and they have made some really good casual games including Lost Lands: Dark Overlord and New York Mysteries: Secrets of the Mafia. I think they are one of the best developers.

Yes, I looked at my notes, and New York Mysteries: Secrets of the Mafia was on my Top Ten. Excellent game.

Here's their website, with a list of all their games. Not all of them are HOPAs, but quite a few are.

I've also been a customer of BFG for many years and rarely purchase a game from elsewhere. My bugaboo with them is the so-called Free to play games which are more costly than the others because, in the little bit of experience I've had, it's impossible to advance and continue enjoying the game without buying something. Frustrating because so many of them look like fun but I hesitate to keep spending to get thru the game. frown

Life's a puzzle; one piece at a time.

You have to be patient to play the Free-to-Play games if you don't want to spend any extra money. Some people I know play them 20 minutes a day or so, and that seems to work well. If you are the type who wants to play games several hours in a row, then I agree that you will come up against roadblocks more quickly. I do know a few people who have played a couple of them for months now and have not spent a single extra cent - but they don't play the games for long stretches at one sitting.

Yes, I have played one or two of those, and will confirm that patience is a virtue, if you don't want to spend your "real" money. I play a couple of other games on line through apps, that also function the same way. You simply limit your playing to what you can accomplish via whatever freebies you earn. I believe people who play that way are termed, "Barnacles," because they stick to the game but don't pay for the ride. LOL Proud Barnacle here. wink
