Hi.
We examined the cabin at Woodsman's Lee but we didn't find everything we need.
But we can't find the Canadian
Pacific Stock Certificate in the cabin. When we look at the shelf we see that
there are ships' logs for several years but we can't get any other information.
There's no specific ship's log book and nothing to read and no certificate to be found.
Checked the two other shelves, one just has ivory teeth or tusks and another
has nothing that lights up. So we can't compare the notebook we found
with the Certificate and we can't ask J. Neligan in the interrogation room about it.
So we are stuck.
Help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Michele

Before you can get that certificate:
- examined Neligan's bloody notebook and saw the abbreviations inside.
- Read the newspaper account of Dawson and Neligan bankruptcy.
- Talked to Neligan about his father and learn about the list of securities.
- examined the map right of the door of the cabin where the body is found. luck

Thanks. Got it now.
I very much dislike the odd and not well explained interface in this game and the fact you can't save
the game when you want to save it.... I don't understand really what the F and T keys are for.
Talent and Imagination...so what does that really DO?

All these extra keys are used whenever the keys are seen on the screen itself - so the game guides the gamer.

T key: Sherlock Talent - Press the T key when it is seen on the screen to find a clue that is not otherwise seen.
F key: Launch imagination. Again use when the F key is seen on screen. This is after a puzzle is done and you check the solution you made by doing a reenactment.

I'm still confused about when the game saves. I don't see any in game notice when there's an autosave and if I get tired and want to stop playing every single time I try to exit the game it tells me everything I've done since the "last save" will be lost. So the game does not save when you stop playing?

Here is the information about save games, according to the walkthrough:

Quote:
Saves: The game autosaves when the game is closed and at certain checkpoints in the game. Use the "continue" to open where you left in the game. Load screen shows the autosaves.

So, if you leave the game and then go back in, choose "continue" in order to play the game where you left off the last time you were playing.

Um, okay, but then why does the game ask if you really want to exit and says that everything you've done since the last save will be lost?

It's just a verification I think. I ignored it because there's nothing I can do except exit. rotfl12

I found that a little scary, too !! eek12

But MaG gave me the same advice - to just go ahead and "exit". And I never lost any of the gameplay thumbsup12
