Only one man in a thousand is a leader of men, the other 999 follow women.

Five cannibals get appointed as programmers in an IT company.
During the welcoming ceremony the boss says: "You're all part of our team now. You can earn good money here, and you can go to the company canteen for something to eat. So don't trouble the other employees."

The cannibals promise not to trouble the other employees.

Four weeks later the boss returns and says: "You're all working very hard, and I'm very satisfied with all of you. One of our cleaners has disappeared however. Do any of you know what happened to her?"

The cannibals disavow all knowledge of the missing cleaner. After the boss has left, the leader of the cannibals says to the others: "Which of you idiots ate the cleaner?"

A hand raises hesitantly, to which the leader of the cannibals says: "You fool! For four weeks we've been eating Team Leaders, Managers, and Project Managers so no-one would notice anything, and you have to go and eat the cleaner!"

A cardiac specialist died and at his funeral the coffin was placed in front of a huge mock up of a heart made up of flowers. When the pastor finished with the sermon and eulogy, and after everyone said their good-byes, the heart opened, the coffin rolled inside and the heart closed. Just then one of the mourners burst into laughter.
The guy next to him asked: "Why are you laughing?"

"I was thinking about my own funeral," the man replied.

"What's so funny about that?"

"I'm a gynecologist."

An old man was sitting on a bench at the mall. A young man walked up to the bench and sat down. He had spiked hair all different colors, green, red, orange, blue, and yellow. The old man just stared.

The young man said, "What's the matter old timer, never done anything wild in your life?"

The old man replied, "Got drunk once and had sex with a parrot. I was just wondering if you were my son."

There was this Asian lady married to an English gentleman and they lived
in London. The poor lady was not very proficient in English, but managed
to communicate with her husband.

The real problem arose whenever she had to shop for groceries. One day,
she went to the butcher and wanted to buy chicken legs. She didn't know
how to put forward her request, and in desperation, lifted up her skirt
to show her thighs. The butcher got the message and the lady went home
with chicken legs.

The next day, she needed to get chicken breasts. Again, she didn't know
how say it, and so she unbuttoned her blouse to show the butcher her
breast. The lady got what she wanted.

The 3rd day, the poor lady needed to buy sausages. Unable to find a way
to communicate this, she brought her husband to the store...

What were you thinking?

Hellooooooo, her husband speaks English!!!!!

Father Christmas was not in a very good frame of mind - in fact he was very depressed.

That morning after breakfast, Mrs Santa had told him that her Mother wasoming over to stay 'for a few days' and he knew that would be for several weeks, and as Christmas was approaching her visit was the last thing that he wanted.

The Elves had neen playing up and had gone on strike for more pay. The replacement elves Santa had put in were much slower and the number of toys that had been made was way down.

Father Christmas went to visit his Reindeers and found that two of them were pregnant and another two had kicked down the fence and had disappeared into the forest. He was by now even more depressed.

What I need is a drink he thought, but upon going indoors he found that the elves had hidden his Whisky and there was nothing left to drink in his liquour cabinet. Deciding upon a coffee he went into the kitchen but managed to drop the Jar of Coffee all over the floor. Now he really was cheesed off!

He went to fetch the broom to sweep up the mess but found that the mice had chewed off all the bristles.

At that moment there was a knock at the front door.

Upon opening it, Father Christmas was confronted by a beautiful Fairy holding a lovely Christmas Tree.

"Good Morning, Santa" she called "Isn't it a really lovely day. I have bought you this beautiful tree, isn't it lovely? Where would you like me to stick it?"

And that is why by tradition we have a Fairy sitting on top of our Christmas Trees.

A pregnant woman is in a car accident and falls into a deep coma. asleep
for nearly six months, she wakes up and sees that she is no longer
pregnant.Frantically, she asks the doctor about her baby. The doctor replies,
"Ma'am, you had twins! A boy and a girl. The babies are fine. Your brother came in
and named them." The woman thinks to herself, "Oh no, not my brother, he's an idiot!"
Expecting the worst, she asks the doctor, "Well, what's the girl's name?"
"Denise," says the doctor.
The new mother thinks, "Wow, that's not a bad name! I guess I was wrong
about my brother. I like Denise!" Then she asks the doctor, "What's the boy's name?"
The doctor replies, "Denephew."

Good morning everyone. wave12

I'm still working on my second cup. It's another very dark Winter day here in Okie Land. I believe I just heard the rumble of thunder. It rained all day yesterday.

Yesterday from the time I got to work until I left last night, it said 33 degrees at the bank, and it rained all day. So, we were only 1 degree away from having snow and ice all day.

Ok it's definitely thunder. yes

I'm not sure what I will do today, but I have plenty to do inside with house cleaning, laundry, and dishes. woot

Evie, hello. It's nice to see you in the diner again. I hope everything is good with you and your family. kissy12

Thank you Karen. kissy12 I pray your surgery goes well. Enjoy your doggies. Sounds like fun. puppy

Good morning Haroula.

Venus have a nice day at work if that's a possibility. lol12

Thanks for the coffee Gerry. kissy12

Sorry about your washer problem Connie. Hope they can fix it quickly and cheaply.

Have a great day Ana. Hope your PT goes painlessly.

Good morning SpaceQuest & Gail, & Nan. santa

Have a super day everyone.

Exciting morning today -they are installing a new water heater right now -oh joy the start of my home improvement. They were supposed to put in a new commode but they didn't have it yet. Talk about baby steps but it's a start.

Everybody who has pending surgery -best,best wishes. Not fun looking forward to but so great when it's over. Hope all your doctors are the best and everyone heal up fast and perfect.

Karen your household must be fun. Do they all get along with each other? Now you heal up your leg. Missed you yesterday.

I started playing Mordor and it's a difficult game. They offer 1 level to start with and then 2 more levels but they are locked. And since I prefer granny mode this will be cussing journey.

Another miserable day. Maybe I'll just drive up and down 696 and maybe I'll see someone -bow wow

My fingers are frozen. Ugh. 37 degrees here and the said it would be warming up to about 70 today? I don't think so. So cold that the Outdoorsies aren't really excited about breakfast. Had to call for one who lives in the yard next door. He actually comes when you call his name. Go figure, a wild feral who knows his name. One from across the street still sleeping I suppose. Very very cold out. We are having a REAL Winter finally. winter

Roads up to the mountains (about 15 miles away) are bumper to bumper. Massive traffic jam. A 20 minute drive became several hours, just to see the snow. We get snow for just a few weeks a year and it's a treat for everyone who has never seen it. Cold and wet and awesome. I'm not making the drive. Way too hard right now and chains required besides. They have guys parked at the side of the roads selling chains for a PRICE. Oh yeah. Major prices and they will put them on for you for even more. Silly, if you never saw snow, it's probably a good deal.

In a few days, we will be back to the mid-70's and low 80's here at the coast. Then everyone will do the 'snow in the morning' and surfing/waterskiing in the afternoon. It's a tradition. Love living in a place where the climate is so different. Sun and surf, then snow and mountains, and a little farther (about 45 minutes) the sandy desert. Fun.

Off to warm up my fingers.

Fixed my shed door which was completely eaten at the bottom by termites and rotted out with rain damage. Removed the bottom 1 inch thick by 9 inches high panel and found it was only paint left on both sides, very little wood. Fun. Cut plywood pieces and screwed them on to cover the damaged areas until I can get a new (actually old) door at a thrift store. In the meantime, neighbor lady was tossing out 2 doors and one of them will work. Carried it home and will store it until the 'fix' fails, probably sometime this coming summer. Too tired to do it now. Lots of measuring, cutting, removing and replacing hinges and door knobs/dealbolt. Gonna be a big project so I will wait.

Broke a tape measure I'd had for eons. Just snapped off at the one inch mark. Cheap one anyway. Went hunting for another at least 12 footer in my house and shed and discovered that one of my hubbies had absconded with all my tape measures. Only one left was a 100 footer. Geez. More stuff I am missing. BUT I did find one in my laundry room tool drawer that is a 12 footer and turns out to be a really nice steel Carlson Big Chief. Very very nice looking, hefty and awesome. From 1952 I think. Ahhh. The good old days. It's almost as old as I am. AND I found a few more 6 footers from the same company. I think I collected them from the thrift store a few years back. Must have or they would also be gone with hubby1 or hubby2. Between them now it's all my tape measures, all my outdoor chairs, all my indoor chairs, a lovely teak table I refinished, 2 huge crock pots with potted palms in them. Crocks are ancient and worth a bunch, all my saws, all the camping gear (tons of it). Guess when the men leave, they take what's important. rotfl

Well, I'm off to sleep. There was an inconvenient last minute change to my schedule - they have me in another store, which would have been nice to know ahead of time - so I have to readjust my day and go in really early at 3 am. Which means I have to be up at 1:30. eek12

Hope everyone has a great Saturday if I don't have time to post in the morning. wave12 Good night, everyone. sleep12

Sorta, sounds like you are all set.

Ah, Midge, hugs to you. EO's are Essential Oils. I'm learning to use them but have to be careful as there is much misleading and dangerous information out there. But they are very helpful in certain circumstances. Hence, research. And then I forget what I learned, so re-research rotfl

Darlene, your dinner sounds yummy. Have fun.

Venus, eek and double eek.

I do believe I'm going to curl up and read or watch tv. Sweet dreams all.
