Well I just wanted those intrested in "REAH Face the unknown" that I'm replaying
the game under Win 7

I'm using the DVD version and so far it works like a Clock (with minor tweaks)

It's been 10 years since I last played this puzzle gem.

Please let us know if you're able to finish the game without running into a trouble spot. Reah isn't currently on our "Windows 7 and Games" list, but it would be nice to be able to add it.

Are you using 64-bit Windows or 32-bit Windows?

Also, what minor tweaks did you use?
Compatibility mode?
Installing some place other than C:\Program Files (or C:\Program Files (x86) if you have 64-bit Windows 7)?
Using "Run As Administrator" either manually or inside the desktop shortcut?
Some other tweak?

Any extra info would be helpful.
There are so few non-reflex-dependent puzzle/adventures these days.
(though I think Reah did have a few timed puzzles -- like the gongs)

Well Jenny100 I'm running the game
on my 64-bit Win 7
I used Compatibility mode Win 95 on the Install file( at first I tried installing the game using no special Compatibility settings, with NO luck). Before I choosed "run" I made sure that the option in settings for the game was set to "NO Texted translation" (there are several for different lang.)

I always install games under a seperate partition (on mine it's called D:\)
After installation I run the game " As Administrator" with Compatibility mode WinXP SP3 using the desktop shortcut.

The only "special" thing about the game is that when you start the game all the menu's are in Polish. But the actual paper manual for the game have the menu instructions in English. So there is no problem.

This far in the game I've had no problems what so ever.

I'll write about this again, once I've reached the end.

Unfortunately benleg1's fix doesn't seem to have helped Coustas.

Well Jenny, as I said there aint a problem since the game it self is in english. I can live with the menu in Poli
because all this is printed in the game manual(in english). I'm playing the DVD version not the CD.
