I am having prblem with Nancy Drew The Deadly Device. I have played this game before without a problem now I have one. I am at the part where Nancy has to go to the security roon after setting the alarm she then twists the coat hooks and gets a code for the video of the night of the death. I have tried the code so many times but it will not show the tape. The code in the lock up is 1bty6510259 the same code in my wakthrough is 1bty510259! I have tried them both I have tried both 1 and I also lowercase L. I went to the next phase but the character won't talk to me so obviously not seeing tape has held me up. I went back a set off the alarm but now can't get into the security room. what have I missed please. Heeeelp!

Hi, it's been a couple of years since I have played this so I am fuzzy on the details.

There's a video here , where at about 3 minutes into the video Nancy sets off the alarm and gets into Gray's security booth. Maybe this will help - if not, please let us know, and we will try to figure out what is holding you up.

The GameBoomer walkthrough states:

For the casefile video:
Click on security icon at top left.
Enter the video card number found in the case file: LBTY510258.
Press enter.
Press the run arrow at top right.

For the video referenced in Gray's lock box:
The text looks like video labels. Click on the monitor and then security icon.
Enter the text: LBTY6510259.

See if that works.
