But how comes you were able to proceed and i was not? is it the OS? or the version of the game?

Glad you got it to work for you.

The ketchup glitch may affect players randomly -- I'm not sure. I've played the original game version quite a few times and have never experienced it personally. So perhaps it occurs if you visit the hotel out of sequence. The OS should not make a difference.
