Good question, Doc. I was raised on country music.
Hubby is listening to what he calls "whale" music...sorta new agey, low key, very repetive music. I usually listen to the t.v.

I got several cd's for Christmas including Manheim Steamroller, Lindsey Sterling, The Last of the Mohicans soundtrack and the Braveheart soundtrack.
It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.

Colpet, I get my songs by driving too and Shazam them so I can buy them later. I also listen to 70's-90's rock. I like a lot of the new alternative rock artists out now. Terri, rap makes my head want to explode!

When I do listen to music it's easy listening and soft rock. I would recommend not listening to Flight of the Bumble Bee while driving....

soot,
You might want to take a look at the John Stanford Deep Space cd. You can listen to the sample tracks at Amazon.
When I come home from work and need to de-stress I have a Pacabel with Ocean Sounds cd that is super relaxing.
It's nice to be important but it is much more important to be nice.
