Hi Boomers wave

I'm playing King quest 5, I have played this game before a long time ago and loved all the KQ games! smile

I am at the temple where you knock on the door with the staff and have to go in get a coin and trophy, the trophy is by the door but I can't find the coin? I only have like 2 seconds before the door closes can someone please tell me where the coin is??

Thanks~Doc

According to a walkthrough:

Quote:
Now use the staff on the temple door. Once you are inside, take the large brass bottle and gold coin next to the entrance and leave quickly

I hope you can find it. Maybe it's just hard to see it?

I found the coin right away THANKS!!

now I'm trying to get the cat & mouse to appear, I saw them earlier in the game but now I can't get them to appear again? guess I'm gonna have to go back to a saved game and play everything over again

Apparently when you first see the cat and the rat, you need to throw a boot at the cat. If the cat and the rat aren't showing up for you now, restoring the game to an earlier save point seems to be the only thing you can do.

Here's some advice about this sequence from a walkthrough I found:

Quote:
Set the game speed to slow and head east to the bakery house. At any moment, you should see a cat chasing a rat in front of the bakery house. The moment you see this scene, throw the boot (that you got from desert near that skeleton) at the cat to save the rat. You have to be quick. If you missed, restore your game and try again. This cat and rat scene will happen after you get the desert boot, but it happens only once. You only have one chance to get it right! You cannot finish the game without saving the rat. Once you save the rat, it will be grateful and offer to help you. Save game.
