Good early morning everyone. wave

L4L I've had Dish for over 6 years, and between them and Direct TV, which is what we have for satellite service, I'll take Dish hands down. Haven't always been happy with them but I must say they bend over backwards to give the best customer service, and for the most part my reception is very good.

They have many plans, of course and I have both my TV and internet bundled with them.

For what it's worth. wink

Have a great day everyone. thumbsup

Karen, don't give up on your possum yet. My huge one who came every night for loads of food, is not around either. It may be hybernating or off having babies. Wait for spring and see if it comes back. Mine disappear on a regular yearly schedule and then come back with little ones. Good luck.

Gah! Got a 1000 piece puzzle at the thrift store. I usually do only 300 and large piece type. So this 1000 is a large piece and I just couldn't pass it up. I'm forcing my TV series watching friend to help me. Oh wow. Gonna take a week I think. Very hard. Only got the edge pieces sorted out last night and nothing put together yet after 45 minutes.

Had rain, not much wet stuff down a bit. I still had to deep water some plants. Just glad we don't have snow.

Hi everyone. Well the totals are over 2 feet. I bundled up and braved the weather to shovel around my car to start to see if I could begin to make any headway so I could go to work tomorrow morning but the winds were so bad, with the snow still coming down, I gave up and returned to my cozy apartment. I'll try again this afternoon. Man what a blizzard.

Midgie hearts winter winter shiver shiver

Just do it.

All you blizzard-ers, the best to you. I remember those and that's why I'm staying andin Texas. We kids would call the school principal and, "Nope no school today", and then we'ed go outside and play in it.

forgot to post this: Last week while driving to work in Dallas my son-in-law, Tim spotted a dog running along the roadside. So he got it and took it back home and Jamie, my daughter, ID it a Finnish Spitz and very old with cataracs and perhaps a bit deaf. And she's a girl!!! The vet found a chip so she's back home now. hope it's a good home. I would have taken her if noone claimed her and name her Lucille.

Beauty day here - might get up to 80 -joy unspeakable

Cats snoozing except Commander Buttons who's patrolling his territories, really.

Yesterday was a busy day -I even managed to burn some hard boiled eggs. They are edible with just a few burn spots on them

Neighbor to the south has fertilized his 50 acres with manure and since we have a south wind today, -well, you know.

Terrific Tuesday ya'll puppy

Been up for hours. Shortstopped in the kitchen to do some research and feed everyone. I am concentrating on creative accounting today!

It looks like a beautiful day out there, but the weatherman just said winds in excess of 20 mph sad

Joe, love the quote. So true! Your sheep counting sounds like it works about as well as it does for me, and for the same reason. lol

Will look into Dish. I think Direct TV is what I see around here, but honestly, I thought they were the same company. I'd love someone who gave good customer service.

Cailyn, hope the power stays on.

Doc, how are you feeling? Alice was lots of fun. I particularly enjoyed how they did the Chesire Cat and the Caterpillar. It was short and energetic as it was aimed at the kiddies. I think Per liked it, but Cully was bored...no super heroes. lol

Ana, hope PT is a breeze and very helpful. Have fun playing.

Venus, happy whooshing.

Haroula, wave

Gerry, stay safe and warm.

Darlene, happy skooshing!

Nan, I would love to toss cable, but Sports seem to be the problem with just internet viewing. Son loves sports. Major source of joy for him and he doesn't have many. But when he is on his own, I will definitely get rid of cable. I have a zillion channels and watch almost none of them. I tend to watch shows from Amazon as I don't have commercials to waste my time.lol

Sorta, have fun with the puzzle. My family used to keep a puzzle on a table in the den up at all times and we all worked on it when we felt like it.

Midgy, stay in! I read that many areas in the storm's path had asked everyone to stay off the roads.

Yankee, so sweet of your son thumbsup Time to diffuse something that smells wonderful.

Off to cook the books wave

Thank you Sorta~ I won't give up hope never! but I'm pretty sure it was my possy I heard crying, I don't know what they sound like?? my Doctors offices always has a puzzle anyone can do~ smile

Hi ya Yankee Bless your son-in-laws heart hearts
those are rare dogs & very cute!
what kind of fertilizer did your neighbors use?
my Dad used to fertilize our horse pasture every year to try to get rid of the buttercups, he used chicken manure and the neighbors wouldn't talk to us for a month! lol you need to get yourself a doggie puppy
where did Commander buttons get his name?
how many cats do you have? blackkitty

Ana, Gerry Midge wave

Have a nice afternoon Boomers ~Karen catrub

Afternoon Boomers

Happy Day wishes to everyone! Blizzard still going on here. Wind died down. There's about 27 inches and still snowing. Power and internet and heat is on. Life is good!

Midgie, Did you get your car out? I think there's still a driver's ban on anyway. And it's still snowing.

Commander Buttons: Cmndr Buttons is a bengal cat so he has dark stripes and spots on a lighter coat and, get this, my daughter Jamie paid 600$ for him. And they lived in Austin in a very nice home. Their daughter, my g'daughter was about 10 when they got him and she noticed the spots and announced that his name would be buttons due to the spots. And so it was. However Jamie, most annoyed considered that name and -"Now I have a 600$ cat named Buttons". But the name stuck. Buttons prefered the furniture in that very nice home instead of the litter box to pish-water on/in. Also he enjoyed cleaning out neighbors' coy ponds and he did one excellent job too. So when they moved to Dallas in a nicer home and neighborhood with bigger coys, Jamie brought Butt-Butt to me. Due to the smelly house that's how his name deteriorated so now I have a 600$ cat and 3 ordinary cats. And I know a commander suited him -he's done alot of living here. Leaving him with me was sad especially for Bradley, my G'son -7 years old- as he left in tears and asked me to take good care of him. For Amanda not so -"Oh, he's just a cat". I noticed Jamie got in the car kinda quickly. Like she didn't want me to notice her crying too. He's been with me 8 years now and at times I call him Butt-Butt too. I have his papers and he's 12 yrs now. He's a solitary cat and has that distinctive bengal neow -more like a howl- and I love him very much -and all the others.

The neighbor used cow manure anyway that's what it smells like. For his sake I hope the manure doesn't have herbicide residue in it -that would inhibit plant growth. He grows coastal to feed cattle. The ranchers have small acerage but they dump chemicals on their land -no good.

Everybody in the south enjoy our wonderful weather and all in the north east -take good care of yourselves

Gail, so glad your heat and net, etc are all on and you are snug. Enjoy!

Yankee, that is a great Commander Buttons story.

I have been very busy and productive today. Now time to sit and sip the smoothie I just made while waiting for hubby to call for the grocery list. Ahhhhhhh....
