Happy New Year Victoria - I do not have any of my saved games from this one - I have two walkthroughs - which one are you using? And just where are you at? Which day are you on? I cannot find any reference to a cabin or a skylight...
Love, Betty Lou

Hi, Victoria!

Are you sure you're not in Robert Knott's cabin in "Overseer"?

Did you create a diversion? Did you take a torch? It took me several times before I safely made it out of the cabin, so don't give up. I saved my game after arriving at the cabin, so I went back and practiced opening up the skylight before it became necessary.

Good luck!

Susan

I seem to recall that in UAKM you are on the roof of a building with an empty water tower and you are hiding behind a divider wall (low one) trying to sneak up some stairs and hiding behind some kind of large unit so the 'suspect' does not see you and you have to be fast in order to move whilse his back is to you and before he turns around - he is standing by a skylight (I think) - several of us had trouble with this one and someone (a moderator I think, the old rememberer "forgets" from time to time) provided a saved game to get us past this part.....is this where you are?

Victoria, I know you have to dress the dummy and sit her on the couch so "whats-his-face" can see her through the window, but darned if I can remember what sequence to use to give you more time! I know I had a terrible time getting through the skylight..try checking it out first so you know just where to stand to toss the rope..good luck! :-) Glynn [P.S. the 6 yr old is a good idea..my granddaughter can come in and get me through a "tough" spot in minutes, that I have been working on for days!!]

Hi, Victoria!

It's been years since I've played "Overseer", but I believe I opened the skylight as soon as I arrived at the cabin. That way, there was one less thing to think about when I was trying to escape. Have you managed to get out alive yet?

Susan

Hi again Victoria. Are you using Tyler Russell's walkthrough? I pulled Overseer off my 'to play again shelf' and I DO have my saves for this game....If you absolutely CANNOT do this scene fast enough to get out of the skylight, then I will try to find the saved game you need. No guarantee that I have a save just after escaping out of that cabin tho....been a while since I played this one and will have to investigate which one you need. Let me know OK?

And yes, you have to dress the blow up doll to make her look like a real person - use her on the window and while they are coming in you use grappling hook on the skylight (you opened this earlier I hope) and Tex escapes while you watch the cut scene.....
