I've been playing and enjoying this game for a while, but am stuck. I've made great progress in finding and activating the Yellow Core, but have had to resort to Bert Jamin'n walkthrough. It hasn't worked. I got the flowers and trees changed as suggested, but can't get 'the pink tree' to turn pink. It turns kelly Green and I can't seem to proceed. Anyone have any ideas what I'm missing? (BTW; if you're one of us who yearned for a new and wonderful MYST-clone, this game is for you.)

The Haze, that will be the three behind the pagoda?

After touching the 2 flowers there, did you go to the beaming light to be beamed to another island to find a liana?

Good luck.

Hmmm.. "Behind the pagoda" sort of depends where I start. Thus far I have turned two flowers blue and a tree turned blue. I then turned two flowers red, and a tree turned red (Ish-orange?). Then I went where the walkthrough said; touched two flowers and 'beamed' somewhere and found a liana. I hit it once and the tree turned bright green. It was supposed to be pink. At this point I wandered and sought other things to do, but didn't want to mess anything else up. I just wandered and moped. Any ideas?

The Haze, I played the game according to the WT and got exactly as it says.

Can you replay to follow the WT from a save not to far so that you can get the three colors as the book shows?

blush Thanks chief! As is usual, the problem was with me and not the walkthrough. (I missed the liana on the platform.) Now the tree and my face are both bright pink. (You'd think with three degrees and lots of teaching of English, I'd have at least learned to read!)
