Hi everyone - I hit an impasse at the village with Jack ! I have the Fire of the Rhino mixture - but I can't use it yet - I think I need to get Skullcracker to drink first but he hasn't.

I got the monkey and Carl saw the airship etc. I lost a few fights in the arena - and exhausted all I can do with Mala.

I must have missed something.

Can someone get me going here?

Yep - I did look at MaG's walkthrough and retraced my steps but I am not seeing anything I missed.

My inventory contains hammer, nails, bowl containing rhino fire drink with not so dry bark, letters, knife, and money

When I try to spike the water bucket, Jack says something about that be OK but doing that later !

Have you won against the native already and then fought with Skullcracker?

I keep loosing - I was thinking I needed to acquire another move to beat the native !

Back to the arena after I get rid of head ache

You have
- to win against the native with the move you already know
- then lose against skullcracker.
- Then you get that next move
- and fight skullcracker again - this time to win.

I know - I was very frustrated on this fight puzzle.

I was kind of enjoying the game too ! So many of them start out good - then add an element that sours the experience for me.

Oh boy what a mess I'm in. I won then lost to skullcraker - I spike his water and tried to nail shut the latrine door - I seem to have fallen into the lake below the latrine - I could not get out - so I thought I'd start over from a Auto Game Save. No joy here - there's no one in the arena - I don't have the medicine either.

Is there any chance of getting a gave save after Jack wins with skullcracker?

I sent you a saved game "after the fight". Please check if this is after the skullcracker one. My saves are not labeled and this is from an old mail.

YES ! Mag ! Thank you ! - It is perfect - right after the fight and now to get the snow gear etc. and forge on...

Rushes - It's a pretty good game if you discount the fight sequences.
