I have set the trap for the squirrel, and left the area several times, but every time I return, that stupid thing is still running around. Where do I have to go to get the thing caught so that I can get the double acorn?

Did you add the walnut bait?

Yes Mag, when he looks at it he says that the trap is ready, but the rodent will never come while he is still standing there, so I leave the area, go into the courtyard, walk around, talk to monks etc. but when I return to the area behind the gate, the squirrel is still running around. Is there any particular place I should be going to?

If I remember correctly - if my trap was correctly set up and was baited with walnut from kitchen - I went out through the gate and then went back to the trap to get the acorn.

Hi Mag, I went back to the kitchen to make sure I had taken the walnut- which I had, and then went back behind the gate, and, lo and behold, there was the splatted squirrel and the double acorn.
