I'm a little stuck and have lots of questions so any answer will set me back on track I'm sure!
1. How do I get that man to leave the front desk so I can get the key to the library?
2. I got the light on in the stairwell but I can't get the elevator back on!??
3. what's up with the room at the end of the hall past the professors room? I got stuck in there with no way out and just started over! Is there a way out that I missed?
Thanks for any help, I've been wandering around this castle for awhile now! frown

Heres a little help.
1# maybe if you went to the desk later in the evening or early morning he wont be at the desk.
2# have you hit the reset button for the elevator?

Well if you are talking about the place I think you are, Looney, the peephole may not show up until after you have collected three medallions. But you should be able to get out of the room.....

If you get stuck in there again, save, and send it to me and I'll try to see what's going on.

Did you look in the magazine in your room on fingerprinting? Did you dust the keys to find out what the numbers are? Then just need to enter them in the right order. Can't remember if had to hit enter key afterwards or not.

Never resist a generous impulse.

So far, I think you have to learn the code so that when you go back in with the key and the alarm goes off, you can (really quickly!!!!!!) go and disarm it. And no, there is no "enter" to it.
