Having all kinds of cursor control problems but with some patience can manage. However, cannot find a way to combine things from inventory to use in game. I follow the directions in the little booklet but what they say should work does not.

If I click on an item I am immediately thrown into game. So I tried right clicking the item - nothing happens. Cannot figure out how to get that green circle around an item and the link chain flashing so I can select another item to combine with the first.

What is the secret? Or what am I not doing right?

What are you trying to combine, Lilac? There are only certain things that you can do this with--maybe you're trying to put two things together that aren't supposed to be combined......

Trying to combine matches and candle so I can see my way around in the attic.

Maybe you need to put the candles in something before you can light them.... they don't combine in the inventory!
