Trying to get the a key from the glue. WT says that there is refrigerator to the right of the door in the restoration room (jamin's) where you get the acid and the crucible. I find no refrigerator in this room. Where is the acid and the crucible???????

Thank,

Lois

Hi Lois......Are you sure you are in the right room? I checked a couple of walkthroughs and they say the frige is to the right of the door in the Restoration Room. smile

"When you enter the Restoration room, you'll see Susanna is angry with something.
Open the fridge to the right of the entrance door." (from Crash's walkthrough)

Love, Witchen =O)

Yes, I am in the right room. Susanne was angry because Reg had not put the scales back where they belonged. She picked them up from under the table and left. I just find no refrigerator in this room on the right or left of the door. On the right as you walk in there are rolls of something hanging on the wall and on the left a shelf.

Thanks,

Lois

Hi Lois....As I recall, (which is barely) the restoration room is a kind of maze, so finding the refrigerator to the right of the door might be oversimplifying where it is.
In any case maybe this alternative Temujin Walkthrough will help you figure this out.

Folks, you can't always trust these WT's for accuracy. eek mad eek There is no fridge in that studio; it's a storage cabinet.

When you come into the room, turn right. Walk around the worktable and you'll find a cabinet tucked into the corner behind the table. You'll find your objects inside.

------------------------------------------------

Witchen, you slipped in ahead of me with that WT. Sadly, it seems to just skip over this part.

Tom's right, Lois--it's a cabinet, not a fridge. And it's yellow if that helps you find it.......

How about that for close timing, Witchie-luv? laugh

Yup, Tom, that doesn't surprise me. I thought maybe there was a partition or a wall or something in between the door and the "frige," but one other walkthrough refers to a "box" and another to a "cabinet." Mindspinning......... smile

The refridgerator is in the kitchen where you would expect to find it... and has other things in but not those you want for this puzzle!!

Do remember folks that the people who have written the W/T's may not have written them in English to start with.. then put em through a translation programme to get the version we see!!

Hey,

thanks everyone--houht I was going crazy. I had already been in that cabinet but now I am ashamed to say that I can't find anything in my inventory that I think is a cruicible. I have already used the Floral acid on the glue and I think it disappeared. Don't think I have any now for the paper clips. Of course I have to find this cruicible. Maybe I have played to much with butterflies this summer and not enough games. Loosing my edge.

Thanks again,

Loisl aka the butterfly lady

Hi Lois.......Just a suggestion but there may be a problem with terminology for the "crucible" too. It may be a mortar and pestle set or maybe its that chalice you found/find in another room. (There's a considerable span of time between me and this game!) LOL

Love, Witchen =O) smile

I seem to remember the crucible is beside the painting, so you need to get the ingredients to put in it.

Thanks, Tig.....and Lois, I think Tig's right as here is a line from Crash's walkthrough where the "bowl" could likely be the "crucible." Sheeeeesh wink

The crucible was in the cabinet right beside the acid. By definition it's a container in which to melt metals. This is a small one and, if I were to describe it, I'd say it looks like a coffee mug (no handle) with a power cord attached. Examine your inventory items with the close-up viewer to find it.

-------------------------------------------------

MORE: The crucible is actually on the next shelf of the cabinet from the acid but there's no way you could miss it. When you look at the item in the viewer, you'll see the words "Electric Crucible" on the side of it. There's no mistaking it for a bowl.
