Hi!
I'm on the rooftop of the keep, and I can't get
the crossbow to shoot anything. The curser does
not change when I click on the crossbow; the only
item in my inventory it will let me use is the
telescope. The curser stays the same no matter
what I click on. I'm trying to shoot the chain
holding the drawbridge up so I can cross into the
keep. The crossbow is loaded and it has been
combined with the anti-vampire solution. Any
special tricks I need to kow? I am using the
walkthrough listed on the gameboomer's site. I
think I'm a little bit screwed because I can't go
back up in the elevator and pick up anything I
missed can I? Any help out there will be appreciated.

I have a feeling that what's causing the trouble may be the anti-vampire stuff--you don't need it here.

If you can't get past this point, you can send me a save and I'll see exactly what the trouble is...

That's exactly what the problem was.
I don't know why I thought I would need the
anti vampire stuff on a chain silly me!
I finished the game with no problem after that.
