I used the numbers given in Catherine's journal to try and open the cover,BUT, it doesn't work.
There are five square buttons. I used the 4,2,4,2,4 combination on them as found in Catherine's journal. I clicked each button 4 times and 2 times etc.
Would appreciate some help.
ThanksRay

Front left to right assign the order 1,2,3,4,5 to the buttons and instead of clickin each button 4 times etc., try clicking the 4th button then 2nd etc., hope this helps.

Hi Ray,

The entry in Catherine's journal changes from game to game. So only you would know what is the number in the journal.

I think this is where you're held up. Enter the code - press the buttons in the order read from journal. So I think that from your code - press #4, then #2 etc.

Been years since I played this one. First, what was the combination for your game for the telescope cover? Each game was different, as I recall. Assuming you input the combination correctly did you click on the handle to open it? Need a little more detail to jog the memory! laugh

I didn't do it......and if I did I'm not guilty!

WOW, talk about a quick reply.
I was confused on the button setup and how many times to hit them.
Thanks to the both of you I finally ended the game.

Yes INDEED, run right down and get Exile. If you don't have thin hair now, you will when you finish Exile, at least some of the puzzles will have you pulling your hair out. laugh
