Manny gave the eggs to Sal in the L.S.A. headquarters and is now supposed to make teeth in the workshop. Can someone tell me where the workshop is?
Thanks,
Susan. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="confused.gif" />

The workshop is in the garage, Susan--check the back of the room, toward the left...

Hi Jenny,
I can't get back into the building. Is there another way in? Manny says he can't go in.

There is a door, or gate that leads into the garage from the alley, as I remember.

BTW, if you want to check to be sure you've done everything, there are a whole bunch of walkthroughs (besides the two we have here at GameBoomers) at The Spoiler Centre ...

Thanks Jenny,
I'll give it a try. We are having a power outage and I'm writing from my daughters laptop. As soon as power is restored I'll try again.

If you walk past where the lift back to the lsa headquarters is, further down on the left of the screen is a ramp which leads back into the garage

Hope you find it!!

Thanks all. Power is back and I found the garage. I'm in the bone wagon now. This is a wonderful game.

I'm at the Tree Farm. I'm supposed to find a spot in the ground that will open up a cave. (already did the mechanical tree). I have been trying for hours. I looked at all of the WT's here and at the Spoiler Centre). It seems thay all say something a little differentc so I am very confused as to how to find the right spot in the ground. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks,
Susan <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="confused.gif" /> eek mad

Hi Susan,

Go to the maze area.
Drop and pick up the signpost on the ground and see which way it points.
Try heading away from the trees.
Put the signpost slightly toward the camera from the middle of the screen. The exit that you want will be near there.
Once you've found the exact location, the signpost will point straight down, opening up a ramp underground.

Hope this helps!
MaG

In addition to the directions Mags has given you, Susan, it seems to me that there is a spot that's a slightly different color right around where the sign goes...

Hi MaG and Jenny,
I found the spot finally. Unfortunately when I got up to the cutscene to go to Year Two my screen when blank. I tried it again and the same thing happened. There must be a glitch somewhere so I guess I can't finish the game. I had to keep shutting my computer and restarting it so something is wrong somewhere. I am so disapointed. I really like this game.
Thanks again,
Susan

Susan, before you give up completely, try closing all of the programs that are running in the background, except for Explorer and Systray. Then you can try lowering your graphic accelerator. Those things might get you past this--especially since it seems to be happening during a cutscene.

If nothing else works, maybe you can send someone a saved game and they can play to the start of year three and then send the save back. I'm sorry that I can't offer, but I can't put my hand on my copy of the game--I suspect one of my grandchildren went away with it...

Thanks Jenny,
I'll give it a try.
If all fails I just got an e-mail saying my Discworld Noir will be here tomorrow. I ordered the DVD version. I never played from a DVD before. Is there any difference as far as installing etc...

No, I didn't see any difference in installation in the DVD games I've played. But not having to swap disks is wonderful. And DN is a great game.

BTW, I edited my last post to add some more advice--you might want to check it again... wave
