I can't help you J. because I am stuck at the same place - have gone through the whole thing twice so far and have apparently not gotten it right yet - I do know that you have to cover 2 of the post holes and pull the tongue, then you have to go back and uncover those two before covering the next two - and so on and so on and so on - One of the reasons I am not taking my walk (for real and actually) today is because I am exhausted after all that walking/running around that silly hole in the ground.......don't know if I can face doing it one more time with fingers and toes crossed that I don't miss something and that I DO get it RIGHT at last!
Sorry to hear you have a bad cold - hope you feel better soon.
Love, Betty Lou

I walked through those gates without dropping my weapons,,plus I picked up the berries twice, must be a glitch or something.Beautiful game (after I cleaned my monitor)tho. smile

Oh, the change in weather is not too bad - we just keep thinking "gee, sure glad we are not still in the Chicago area!" - winter here is not too bad, cold some days, others not so cold.
That is strange, that you were able to walk through the gates without putting down your sharp objects...it must be a glitch in the game...my disc seems to be working OK but every now and then the speech/sound sorta hiccups - I tried adjusting my hardward acceleration but it did not cure the problem - glad for the subtitles..
let me know if you get that island to come down, I am going to try again this AM before I let granddaughter onto my computer. Are you off today and/or tomorrow for Veterans Day? Granddaughters have no school, were here for weekend, stayed again last night and mom & dad too.

Well, I QUIT! There IS a glitch in this game - I went through the whole process yet again to play those 'wind pipes' in the right tonal order and when I finished it this time and pulled the tongue, then clicked on the 'exit arrow' from the scene to see/watch if the island would come down or not, I got dumped back onto my Windows desktop - PLEASE someone add me to the list (catsmom asked first) for a saved game for this puzzle - very frustrating to have tried several times to do it correctly and when you do you cannot play the game anymore!!! PHOOEY!

I am not sure about the saves in this game. I cannot understand why one of the saves I sent to another gamer didn't work.

Betty Lou, I did not uncover any of the stands after I pulled the tongue. I just went on and did the next set of posts.

When your game went to the desktop, did you check if there is a Journey frame in the task bar below? Try it and see if there is one, if so - just click on it to get back to the game.

Try this and see if it works - if not I will send you a saved game but I cannot guarantee if it will. The other gamer said it doesn't. I still have not deciphered how to work it. That is if there's another file needed. wave

where are the save games? The save game directory just has jpg files which is the picture when you make a save.

That's just Stacey, I can't find any other file to go with the jpgs. That is why I can't send any saved game out. I haven't taken the time to examine it closely yet. If you find out how to get those jpgs to work - please holler. smile

Thanks MaG and D. who emailed me. I finally got it to work, and don't know what I was doing wrong the first 100 tries but got it going again. am now in that lab trying to figure out the weighing of those rascally balls - have 2 walkthroughs and am so dense don't understand what they are trying to tell me, I'm going to give it some time and mull these instructions over again tomorrow, getting too tired out for it to make much sense now...I assume that the answer I end up with, either the heaviest or lightest ball is a random answer, that is why no one can just tell me which ball I need...guess that is right.
Thanks again, see ya tomorra
