What do you do when your inventory gets full. You cant pick up something unless you take out one item in inventory. How do you know which item to eliminate from your inventory.

Try throwing the item away in the trash can in Nick's apt. If you don't need it, it will be gone. It won't let you throw anything away that's necessary to complete the game. Othen than that, just drop them on the floor of your apt.

Help!! I am in 2019 in Professor's study and am trying to retrieve the bottle on top of bookcase with the ruler. Keep trying but drop the ruler everytime. What should I be doing to get the bottle? Much thanx for your help.

I'm noplace near as far along as you guys are, but here is what the walkthrough says to do. This may be a situation of having to be in exactly the right place:

Walk towards the filling cabinet. You are going to use it as some kind of... ladder. Open the bottom drawer at the right. While standing in front of the drawer step on it. Now open the left second drawer from bottom. Step on that one. Be careful not to step down! Now open the drawer next to you and carefully step on that one. Now look on top of the cupboard to discover a bottle. But hey... you can

Thanks Jenny, I am following the walkthrough. I have climbed the three drawers with no problem, but when I click the ruler on the bottle it doesn't pick it up. I will go try again, maybe from the 2nd step. There is a trick to this somewhere.

Ok, this is what worked for me ..... Step up on bottom left drawer, then step up on right second drawer from bottom. You can snag the bottle from there!

I climbed all over those drawers and finally got the bottle last night. There's a trick to this one, and I'm still not sure what it is. I had tried what Geronimo suggested, and it didn't work for me either. I finally started on the lower right drawer, went to the second drawer from the bottom on the left, pulled out the second drawer from the bottom on the right, moved over to it, and finally got the bottle. The trick might be how close to the edge of the drawer you are.

The same thing happened to me, than all of a sudden it was in my inventory. Don't know how I did it.

I just can't explain why one way will work for one person & not for another. I think this is kind of a glitchy game, but stuff WILL work, just keep trying from different positions.NOTE: a full inventory will not accept a new item, so be sure you have a slot for the bottle first.

Hey Everyone - many thanks for all your suggestions. I contacted Bert Jamin himself and he told me not to bother opening the ruler. Then I tried different areas to get the bottle. I did it!! I was very close to the edge of the second drawer from top on right.

Now I am having another problem. Can't locate the space station. Where do I get to it? I am looking all over the maps. Tried clicking all over the picture of the space station - nothing happens. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="confused.gif" /> Thanx in advance.

Well - silly me. I went back to Nick's home and picked up more items and the retried talking to Pekos and then went to find Space Station and voila.

Now I am ready to tackle the electronic guard dogs. Should be quite a challenge. Bye now.
