Hi.

Have just started Rhea happydance which I acquired some time ago [from a Boomer smile ] but no manual was included in the deal.
[I'm playing it on the Win.95 machine my son in law put together for me.]

I've tried to see if a manual is included amongst the game files - by going to "My Computer" and accessing the CD ROM - and also looking via the Windows Explorer route - but no luck wave

Hmm I went downstairs and pulled my Reah game off the shelf and I don't seem to have a manual or the manual either. How odd. Anyway - I don;t recall any odd things about the game interface other than the difficulty of some of the puzzles. eek

Maybe someone else has a manual on hand.

Laura

HI there, Mad and Happy St. Patty's! smile

I have the manual but there's nothing particularly involved about the game function. Its pretty straight forward. If you have a question later I'd be happy to help out. One thing that might come in handy is hot keys, as follows:

F1 for Help
F2 Save
F3 Load
F4 Sound
F10 or Alt-F4 EXIT

Hi Mad,
I do have the manual and the game interface is pretty straight forward. You can use the arrow keys as well as the mouse for walking around in the game.

I would suggest that when you get to the gas valve puzzle that you turn the music completely down.

If you need any help just give me a holler. I can e-mail you the manual if you like. I even have a couple of dozen saved games for it.

Hugs, Cheryl

Some highlights from the manual......

You can turn left, right; look down, turn and look down or up.

In the bottom left corner of the screen is an icon telling you which way you can turn and/or look.

In the inventory (below main screen) an item is activated automatically after the place where it can be used is indicated on screen. You don't have to test everything in inventory to know what to use.

You can save when you see a flag on the map in the bottom right corner of the screen. Cannot save at puzzles.

Just some of the manual info. laugh

P.S.......Although saves are limited to 16, you can (if you know how) save all you want in groups of 16 or less.

I didn't do it......and if I did I'm not guilty!

Hi there, Mad......... smile

Not only will you have a good time with these puzzles, for sure, you will find them very challenging; at least some of them. The end sequence immediately jumps to mind though its been nearly five years since I played it.

REAH is the L.K. Avalon predecessor of SCHIZM and IMHO the two of them rank very high on the "Hardest Adventure Games Ever Produced" list! smile LOL smile
