My son, bless him, bought me a Nintendo DS with Hotel Dusk & Brain Training, both great games.
Can anyone recommend other games - I loathe shoot em ups & action games & love adventure games & hidden object games too. I like casual puzzle games like Chuzzles & Zuma too.
Are there hidden object games for the DS ?
Can anyone recommend a good adventure not already on PC ?
Thanks for your help.

Ooh,those sound good. I take it Tunguska, CSI & Ankh are versions already on pC - thought I saw a Nancy game unavailable in the UK that looked new.
Will have a troll on the net for Professor Leyton & The Silver case as they sound great.
Thanks Ana

Some good DS games that are currently available: Animal Crossing, Lost in Blue and Puzzle Quest. Trace Memory is a good adventure game.

I'm addicted to Animal Crossing right now. Absolutely love it! There's a game called Quick Spot where you have to try and find the differences in the pictures. That was kinda fun. Phoenix Wright is good also. Nancy Drew: The Deadly Secret of Olde World Park is supposed to be released the end of this month.
I have Lost in Blue 2 and cannot seem to figure out this game. Maybe I need to give it another try.

Enjoy your DS!

Lisa

If you have Wi-Fi with your Animal Crossing, you can visit other player's villages, talk to them and trade items. That made the game much more interesting.

I just got the Nintendo Wi-fi connector today but haven't used it yet. I want to get all the furniture for my rooms as well as the different fruit.

JennyP, you can use the wireless connection you already have at home with the DS. The special Nintendo connector is meant for people who don't have wireless internet at home, but it can be easier to use even if you do.

I would recommend trying without, first (the booklets and the Nintendo site have instructions). If you can't get it to work you can buy the Nintendo USB WiFi connector.

I'll be back, one day, when I feel like it.

JennyP, you are all set then. We have wireless and nothing else was needed. If you don't have it, there is a dongle that you can buy to make it work.

dragon, if you scroll up to the top of this thread (second post) you will see the released games and the games that are still to be released. They are not yet released. I deleted your other thread with the same question also. It is not necessary to post the same question twice. thanks

Professor Layton should be December 3rd according to Gamespot.

And don't forget that your DS has a slot that accomodates GBA games. I don't think there are many adventure games available for the GBA other than the first Broken Sword game. But there might be some fun casual type games out.

cheers,
jasper

I just got a press release from Ubisoft, saying that CSI Dark Motives is now available for Nintendo DS.
