Greetings all.
A little news about my next game release
called The Dead Device. I have decided to
use the wintermute engine to create the game.
Wintermute is a very flexible engine that is
both Vista and XP friendly. It also has
a built in particle system to create such effects
as rain , smoke, etc.

There are some new screenshots at the website
for anyone interested
http://members.aol.com/ancientrein/ar_004.htm

Also...
There is a demo available on the links
page for my first game release , Lunar Deep laugh

Thanks

I like the screenshot with the stunted tree in the foreground.

The screenshots look really good, can't wait to play the game.

You said you were using Wintermute for it's flexibility, have you heard of Point & Click Development Kit? It has a lot of EAX and FX features as well. Just a thought.

thanks everyone!

Cailyn , glad you enjoyed lunar deep.

StarLite Moon , I thought the pnt/clk development
kit was for free games only? not commercial?
Perhaps that has changed. laugh

Sorry Ancientrein, I wasn't aware the game you were making was a commerical game sorry about that. No P&C DK is strictly freeware. He says it will never be for commerical use.

I'll have to see if I can find this game. Not sure if I've played it or not. I'm finding that all the games seem to run into each other.

StarLight, just scroll to the top of the forum and click on Independent Games. You will find Lunar Deep there.

hi gamenut ,
Yeh , the dead device will be longer.
Lunar Deep was never designed to be any great
epic. People often go straight to the walkthru's
so I think perhaps it may seem shorter than it
is. I thought the Special Edition turned out
pretty well. The Dead Device will have twice as
many game screens and plenty of plot twists and
turns to keep you busy. scared
thanks!
