and I don't even mind the controls! I was a little leery of this game, both because so many people had problems with it, and because I usually dislike third person games. To my surprise, I am really enjoying it! I did switch the controls around - using the number keys for look, inventory, talk, and action, and the arrow keys for movement. The story is interesting ,the graphics great, and the Johnny Depp look alike sure doesn't hurt!

I know I am in the (very teeny) minority , but I actually prefer keyboard controls in third person games. I think its easier to control the character!

wave Good morning! I've started playing this game as well, and even though I've put it to the side for now (as I'm addicted to these 'casual games'!), I'm really enjoying the storyline.

Woohoo and booyah! smile Have an easy peasy day!

Hi Sassafras,

I LOVED this game! Once you get used to the controls, its no big deal. The story and graphics are great. I hope they make sequels! smile wave

I am happy to hear I'm not alone! Can't wait to get off work so I can go home and play some more - I just left the grotto and now gotta find Edward!
Does anyone know the deal with the main character's look? even my 7 year old niece commented on how much he looked like Johnny Depp! Too close a resemblance to have been an accident I think!

I'm so happy you are having fun with it Sassafras! You're so right - the depth of story is something you don't see every day. As for Depp - er, Finvinerro, I don't know why but I hope they keep using him in more games! lol

I bought a new PC so I could run the game, then found out about the keyboard controls. Now wary of playing it as I loathe keyboard. Not too bad if the movement is arrows, will pluck up courage to change the settings.
Johnny Depp is a great incentive.

I have had a 'barren' few months when I have been too busy with other things to play games too much! - but at last recently got round to finishing Runaway 2 & at the mo really enjoying Beyond the Spirit's Eye which is excellent. Meanwhile I have accummulated a lot of new games - I have already been agonising over what I am going to play next but after everything I've read it's definitely got to be Dead Reefs - I now can't wait!!!

I am almost finished with it, I do like the storyline, it makes up for the keyboard controls. I am ok with keyboard, but always manage to get turned in the wrong direction. Having him back up would even help some. I didn't switch the controls, probably should have done so. Luckily I have a gamepad and am used to doing stuff with my left hand.
