It is probably Canadian dollars, not US dollars. CAN dollars 29.95 might be = to US dollars 19.95. It actually is the same in Denmark where we pay about 65 US dollars to 70 US dollars, depending on the exchange rate for Danish Crowns, even if the game in the is selling for a retail price 49.95 US Dollars in the US.
I don't know why teresa was offered only 3 $ CAN? for Anacapri, but maybe it has something to with theage old supply & demand thing. I mean there is enough Anacapri games out there right now, so they can't re-sell it for more than maybe 6-10 USD to make a profit (again) from the game.
Scarcer adventure games like Grim Fandago, or Monkey Island 1 or Gabriel Knight 1 (the original one) or Still life and Post Mortem + Syberia 1-2 will be selling for many US dollars, sometimes for over 100 US dollars.
Adventure gaming is fun

I know when my boys trade a console game in, they get very little for it. That's why the kids that want to trade their games play them as quickly as possible so they get a higher price.

It is probably Canadian dollars, not US dollars. CAN dollars 29.95 might be = to US dollars 19.95. Amazon.ca and Amazon.com are both selling it for $19.95 now. Canadian dollars are worth about the same as US dollars now, but prices in Canada didn't immediately reflect the decrease in the value of the US dollar. They've been catching up recently though.

I would rather trade game for game with some one of game boomers as then you get your monies worth .I will also sell them but would rather do game for game when possible .Where I live we have 2 game places and I would nt bother taking them in as you need about 4 good games to get 1 if you are lucky

teresa, I was going to suggest you post the game for sale or trade here at GB's Trading Post. Here in the states most EB stores will no longer trade PC games.
I would think you could get a good trade here as there are always people looking to buy the newer games at a bargain of 1/3-1/2 off the original price. Or will trade for another new game.
Good luck to you, Linda
So many games, so little time.
