Hi Robert smile

Could it be this game:

The secret of Atlantis - the sacred legacy perhaps?

My copy of the game has a zeppelin (airship?) on the front of the box. It looks like this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Secrets_of_Atlantis:_The_Sacred_Legacy

MaGtRo has written a walkthrough here:
http://www.gameboomers.com/wtcheats/pcSs/secretsofatlantis.htm

edit:
The game is from 2006 according to the info on the back of the box.

Atlantis: The Lost Tales

Atlantis 3 (Beyond Atlantis 2 in North America)

The first three all have that butterfly-like airship at some point in the game.

Atlantis Evolution (sometimes referred to as Atlantis 4)

The "Halt deviant!" game. I think it had some sort of flying ship in it, but maybe only in a cut scene.

Atlantis 5 (Secrets of Atlantis/The Sacred Legacy)

The last one had a zeppelin in it, and you had to repair the zeppelin.

I've an older game in my head that I've been trying to identify for a couple of years also. I don't know if it's the same one.
I know it involves several locations.
One is a Chinese board game where you play both outside, and within, the board game.
I really enjoyed the whole game and would love to replay it.
Anyone know of it?

Atlantis 2 (Beyond Atlantis) had you doing something like that to get through a room.

Yes, that's the one. Thanks Jenny. I'll make a note of it. Hope I can locate someone selling the game.

Managed to locate Atlantis 2. Looking forward to replaying it.
Another game that was good but I can't remember which one it was had a large hole in the ground leading to a tunnel entrance. I think this tunnel was underwater. It had lots of chambers filled with skulls.
I remember being totally immersed in this one, disoriented in the tunnel system and with rising claustrophobia.
Anyone remember?

I remember that too but can't place the name. I keep thinking of Limbo of the Lost but that's not it.

Could the game where you go down into a tunnel with water and find skulls be Riddle of the Sphinx 2 also called The Omega Stone ? You visit several areas of the world and one is in Central America (i think), and you at some point do go into a hole(old well?) and see a hole/tunnel in the side and when you go in you will enter into area with a lot of water and you do hunt for skulls...and it IS VERY Twisty and easy to get confused!

It certainly sounds like it. I'll check it out.
I'd like to replay it even though I was actually hyperventilating and had to remind myself "It's only a game".
I think that's the measure of a good game; you feel it's totally real. That's why I like playing first person games.
