Part 2 of The Raven trilogy has been released.
How does it compare with the first part?

Thanks, flotsam thumbsup

A low-ish grade for this chapter - but I can see why yes

And you certainly have reinforced my original decision to not play until I have all three chapters to hand laugh

Thanks to you, too, Jenny100 grin

Ive only just started the 2nd part but I really enjoyed the first part. The story and characterisation are surprisingly good I thought. Some nice twists. It's almost cinematic. I imagine if it had been released all in one go it would be rated up with things like Lost Horizon. Suppose it will all depend on how they finish the story. Peter Jackson said the middle part of a trilogy is always the difficult one.

Thanks flotsam and Jenny. Well, this just reinforces the fact that I was only sent an image when I tried to buy the game the first time was ultimately a good thing. lol I plan on getting the entire game on GOG when it's released there, and hopefully it will have a much better flow when it's all put together. yes

I see The Raven: Legacy of a Master Thief - Chapter 3: A Murder of Ravens launches on September 24th, 2013.

I don't agree with Flotsam at all. Part two was even better than the first one. The change of narrative viewpoint was brilliant and resolved som of the mysteries from the first part in a very clever way. I'd give the game an A and I'm not easily pleased when it comes to adventure games.

I'm waiting for the whole thing to be available at once, myself. I don't like the idea of having to "patch" to get parts 2 and 3. The whole game looks like it will be very good though.
