I hope this link works, because it's very funny.

Things we do in video games that would be creepy in real life. thumbsup

rotfl Thanks for sharing, Joe! That whole thing was hysterical! I never skip dialogues (unless I have to replay a section twice because of a glitch), but that one was especially funny to me, as was the hording. grin I think they should also add describing random objects you see around you and describing people right in front of them. lol

EDIT: @Gerry, yes, that one was great, too. lol

Yup. Done nearly all those things in real life.

Quote:
Hoarding items and never using them
Skipping dialogue
Restoring energy
Escort missions
Solving puzzles
Walkthroughs
Ever touching an ocarina
Gathering resources
Stealth

Everything except the ocarina.
I'm not sure what "Ever touching" an ocarina would be (maybe a typo?) but I'm pretty sure I've never touched one. However I did have to play with a tonette and a recorder in elementary school which seem to be much the same thing.

Hoarding items and never using them -- check your cabinets and closets and you'll find the evidence

Skipping dialogue -- ever get cornered by anyone who tries to force a one-sided conversation on you and you just want to get away?

Restoring energy -- breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea, coffee, snacks

Escort missions -- anyone who has had to take care of young kids (or walk a dog)

Solving puzzles -- figuring out the controls on your new toaster

Walkthroughs -- manuals for any type of equipment

Ever touching an ocarina -- see above

Gathering resources -- grocery or hardware store shopping

Stealth -- sneaking past your parents at night to get to the refrigerator. Or for parents, sneaking presents under the Christmas tree.

Jenny, putting it that way, I have done them all. I even have an ocarina and have tried playing it.
