Hello all. I'd like to announce 'Village of Evil' A classic text-based retro adventure game.

Inspired by classic horror such as The Wickerman and Hammer films with a sprinkling of H P Lovecraft, Village of Evil is an unrepentantly old school text based adventure with pixel art and an incredible atmospheric soundtrack by talented composer Andrea Spontoni.

Thanks for letting us know about Village of Evil. One of my favorite text adventures was The Lurking Horror by Infocom, a great horror game.

Hey thanks, the main inspiration here was the C64 classic Castle of Terror, it's kind of an homage to that really... I'll have to check The Lurking Horror out
