Are you saying that Isabelle is NOT going into the Hall of Fame this year?

Maybe if GOG gets the game, more of us could play, and Isabelle would inch up from it's current status of receiving one vote per year?

I think the Pandora Machine is specifically Australian, and they choose which sites to archive. Flotsam will know more. Won't you flotsam???

Fun, can't wait! There were a lot of very strong games this year, so my list has actually been updated. Looking forward to it.

Its an acronym for Preserving and Accessing Networked Documentary Resources of Australia.
It is an initiative of our National Library, and began in 1996. They have a legislative requirement to build a comprehensive collection of published materials, so that includes online resources.
They have guidelines about what they archive - some countries take an "in time" snapshot, others like Australia take a selective approach. According to those guidelines they archive material they consider to be of significance and to have long-term research value.

From Aus, I can have Pandora pages bookmarked like any other webpage, and they show up as they always were. So Quandary just opens as it would if it were still live. Its pretty neat.

I will start the new list next weekend.
