Are there any games released that are not horror or have scary things in them I cannot play horror games. What happened to the makers of Schizm (Mysterious Journey) and cant think of the name of the game but it had a chair in it that went to another game area. Was it called Aura or something like that? Is there any news on Illiad? spelled wrong I am sure. Was there ever another Crystal Key put out?

Dutch, I do not think most of the games released are horror. I do not know what games you have played or not played but if you look here at the recent releases and find a game that you have not played, check the reviews here to see what they are like. I think you will be pleasantly surprised to find most are not horror.

If you are looking for mystlike games, those are not as frequent, but there are other choices.

The Book of Unwritten Tales, the Journey Dow, Yesterday, Botanicula and Deponia are a few good choices.

If you are looking specifically for 1st person games, most are either suspense or horror. Older games you might like are:
Rhem series
Outcry (more wierd than spooky)
Slip Space Burma Shave
Yoormurjak's Ring

Sometimes I think of RHEM as a horror game. It can be very surreal at times with the empty, minimal environments. It feels like a sinister joke is being played on you by someone watching you from above like a rat in a maze. You spend hours opening a puzzle to a locked door only to find another locked door with a devious puzzle right in front of you. Besides that, how can anyone survive there? No food, nowhere to sleep. I would have gone insane long ago with the amount of time I've spent inside RHEM.

Some people consider Myst a "horror" game. You're alone on a deserted island, you find evidence of past destruction and none of the inhabitants left left alive. Is whatever caused this destruction still at large and will it come back for you? There's no way to escape and no people except these creepy brothers who are somehow trapped in these creepy books. If you choose the wrong ending, you're trapped in the creepy book too.

I didn't feel like it was a horror game myself while I was playing it, but I can see why someone else might.
