Hi, everybody! wave

Has anyone played this game?
The reviews appear to be good.
Although, by what I've read,
it seems that instead of the game
playing smoothly, it plays like
a picture-slide-machine with
intermittent animation.

Let me know if any of you have
played it.

thanks

Aser rah

Hi aser,

Do you mean the game that was originally released in 1997?

I haven't played it, but here's another review, by GB's Drizzt, if you haven't seen it already:

I wouldn't put it that way.
To get a better idea of how the animation looks, check a YouTube video.

There's nothing like seeing it for yourself.

Rushes- wave
This is the same game--
I was unaware of Drizzt's
review. I definitely will
read it!

Thanks, Rushes!

Jenny100- Thanks! thumbsup
You were right -- I'm
glad I watched the video!
What an interesting game,
the likes of which I have
never seen. Makes me wonder
if this was the norm for PC
games in 1997.

I appreciate your getting
back to me, guys! flowers

No, it wasn't the norm.
This game was one of a kind.
There were some other very creative games made in the 1990's, but none like The Last Express.

If you have an iPad/iPhone/iTouch, a rather nice port of The Last Express is available in the App store for $4.99!

This is another example of what I forecast 4 months before the iPad came out in April, 2010 (ie. that the iPad would be a major new platform for old AG ports and new AGs.)

Great news, SirDave!
If you have any other
recommendations in
mind, let us know.

Looks like your forecast
was right-on, wasn't it!

Thanks!

Aser
