View the trailer here.

Quote:
Today we can unveil the digital release date and world premiere trailer for BATMAN - The Telltale Series.

The first of five episodes in the season, Episode 1: 'Realm of Shadows' will be available digitally worldwide starting Tuesday August 2nd on PC and Mac from the Telltale Online Store, Steam, and other digital distribution services, on the PlayStation®Network for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, on the Xbox Games Store for Xbox One® and Xbox 360®, for compatible iOS devices via the App Store, and for compatible Android-based devices via Google Play and the Amazon Appstore.

The series will also be available to purchase at retailers starting September 13th in North America as a special Season Pass Disc, which will include the first of five episodes in the season, and will grant access to the subsequent four episodes as they become available for download via online updates. The series will then be available to purchase at retailers across Europe on September 16th.

Rendered to look like a living, breathing comic book, Telltale's vision of Batman will feature an award-winning cast of talent, including Troy Baker in the role of Bruce Wayne, Travis Willingham as Harvey Dent, Erin Yvette as Vicki Vale, Enn Reitel as Alfred Pennyworth, Murphy Guyer as Lieutenant James Gordon, Richard McGonagle as Carmine Falcone, and Laura Bailey as Selina Kyle. Additional cast and characters will be revealed as the season progresses.

Happy Gaming!

Cool, hope there isn't too many action scenes.

Dumb questions but I always get confused by this. GOG has this for pre-order at $22.49. Does that price include the 5 episodes of the season? It is not just the price of 1 episode right? But then there may be more seasons to follow?

Thanks for the info.

This might be a silly question, but why on earth do they want people's email address and age to look at the trailer? I've never given out those details just for that and don't particularly want to now either.

Thanks, Ana. I'm going to give this one I try. I picked it up yesterday on GOG. thumbsup

JoAJ, I'm not getting those prompts. headscratch Is it YouTube that's asking you to do that? You may try watching through TellTale, GOG or Steam if YouTube insists on asking for your e-mail address. Though I'm not sure why they would do that. The other sites will ask for your birthday, as the trailer is considered "mature" for some reason, though there's nothing in it that needs a rating as far as I can see. You don't have to program your exact birthday. I usually put my year of birth and just leave it at January 1st to make it easier. lol Really, you don't have to put your exact year of birth, either. They just want to make sure the user is over 18, so any year before 1998 should do. grin

I didn't have to but I'm registered on both Telltale and YouTube so they know my age. Even when they ask, I only have to provide my birthdate.

Ana, it was the same for me, and with YouTube, I didn't even have to program in my birth date. (I did with TellTale when I tested it.) Maybe YouTube is requesting an e-mail address for those that aren't registered? It seems strange, though, as all they would really need would be a birth date. Granted, people could lie about that, but they could do that even while providing an e-mail address, so I don't see why that should be a requirement.

I just clicked on the link again, it takes me to a Google page and says to confirm email address etc. and I don't have a Google account so far as I know - so I haven't done that as yet, maybe I will and maybe I won't - not exactly desperate to look at it at the moment anyway.
