Just a heads up for all you BFG members.

Check your punch card closely......

In March, I purchased - one CE game and 3 standard games from Big Fish making total punches of 6. However; my punch card only shows 4 game punches. think

I didn't notice the lack of punches till I just purchased a game today and my punch card didn't add the new purchase. I've contacted BF about this. Hopefully, they will respond before the first of April.

Hope no one else has had this problem. You can check your purchase history if you think your punch card is wrong.

Happy gaming everyone! wave

Hi, I haven't experienced this problem. Are you aware that things have changed in the last month or so in regards to punch cards? Namely, that if you use a coupon code to purchase a game, you will only receive a punch on your punch card for that game if you use it during a bonus punch promotion (which currently takes place on Mondays).

I don't know if this accounts for the discrepancy you are seeing on your punch card, but I thought I should mention this, just in case. wave

Quote from the Big Fish website:

Quote:
Due to recent changes in the Game Club Punch Card program, redeeming a Punch Card coupon code for a free game will no longer earn a punch on your punch card. You can still get a bonus punch for using your Punch Card coupon code during a Bonus Punch promotion.

I recently bought 2 CE's and received 6 punches.

Could it be their new policy of NOT giving punches
when you use a free coupon to purchase a game?

Marian,

The rule doesn't make sense because I purchased the CE game on sale, then used coupon codes for the 3 SE games and got one punch for one of the games. This new rule you mentioned is really getting confusing! None of my coupon code purchases were on a Monday.

Thanks for the info - will keep that in mind and perhaps do some changing to my BF game purchases. wave

That doesn't make sense to me either - unless you got those 3 SE games on a Monday, you shouldn't have received a punch for any of them.

Another way to account for this discrepancy, though, would be if you purchased your CE on a Monday - you would have received 4 punches for that, being as it was Bonus Punch Monday. wave

Nope, none of the games including the CE were purchased on a Monday. confused
Perhaps whenever I get an answer from BF, we'll know more.

Not sure I like their new rules. Oh will, maybe I need a break from playing games for a while and save my money...... rotfl

For me, it's as simple as this: if I want my punch card coupon codes to give me any punches on my punch card, I use them on Monday; otherwise, I just use them whenever.

I think the new system is reasonable, though. Basically we were getting even more free games using free game codes. It was fun while it lasted. grin
