This is a good puzzle game for those with an iPad. There are 4 different puzzle types with increasing difficulty.

Thanks, Colpet.
I did a search for it with my iPad and actually found a different game, called The Curse, which may be worth looking at. The Heist only shows up with a search for iPhone apps, though it may work with an iPad.
The Curse is at
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/the-curse/id548001324?mt=8

Bought The Heist.
The puzzles get more difficult after the first four of each type.
  • Sliding block puzzles
  • Sudoku-like puzzle using symbols with one symbol of each type per row, column, or outlined area
  • Sokoban
  • Sliding tile puzzles, starting with 3x3, then 4x4, etc.

I looked into The Curse. The only thing holding me back is the mention of having a time restriction. Paying for hints would be another negative, but I don't usually use in game hints anyways. Here's the gamezebo review:

I hope you have some fun with The Heist, Jenny100. I enjoyed all the puzzles. I had the toughest time with the sliders connecting the wires. First, figuring out the connections, then getting the tiles in the right place. Sometimes the hardest part was working out where the blanks go.
Have you played The Room 2 yet?

Some of the reviewers at the iTunes shop complained about the riddles in The Curse, but there is a list of puzzle solutions online ***here*** so you can essentially skip those if you want.

Most of the puzzles in The Curse are not timed. However there are some that are (and shouldn't be), like the ***spaghetti puzzle***. I ran out of time on that one, and ended up using the picture in the puzzle solution as a guide.

One annoying thing about The Curse is that every time you solve a puzzle you get a screen offering to send the information out on the Internet. It doesn't force you, but it keeps on asking even if you told it you didn't want to.

I bought The Room 2, but decided to replay The Room 1 before starting The Room 2.

I had a question about the Heist.
I got the 4th lock opened last night, and the lady said something like "there's a sparkly thing, you should take it." But when I tried to it complained about not being on the Internet and said I had to be on the Internet to claim my award. Do you know what this "award" is? Can I just continue to solve the puzzles without getting the reward?

After completing the 4th lock, I just continued solving the puzzles. I don't remember much of what she said, so I missed that detail.
At the end, you are showed a screen with a metal briefcase. When I tried to open it, I was given a notice that my reward was a free game, but I had to register to claim it. I didn't continue. The game wasn't something I was interested in, but maybe there were more 'rewards' at each level, achieved via the internet.

Thanks, Colpet. The award was probably the free game, and if it's not a similar-type puzzle game, I probably wouldn't be interested.

I think the hardest puzzle I've done in The Heist so far is the Sudoku-type that used the Pac-Man symbols. They looked so much the same to me.

I like both these games. But one improvement would be to be able to play in Landscape orientation. It's easier for me to hold the iPad that way.

If you want to know more about the puzzle types in The Curse, the puzzle solutions site shows what they look like. I've finished the "Easy" section and there's quite a jump in difficulty in the sliding block puzzles (they use different size pieces) and the "burned knot" puzzles (where you need to touch all the knots without retracing your path. The game has the advantage that you can jump ahead and play the advanced puzzles without playing the "easy" ones first. So you're not really stuck if you want to skip any of them.

I'm playing The Curse now. I like most of what I've come across. I'm still in the easy section and already find the riddles and the timed buttons hard hardwall
