Hi all,

I've been playing this game now through the first couple of chapters and, for a shooter, I'm rather liking it. It's not for everybody that's sure. If you're offended by adult language and/or adult situations I wouldn't recommend it. Also if you don't like being on the wrong side of the law the same. But if you don't mind the language and being a criminal it is a pretty fun game. There's a lot of driving in the game and it takes some getting used to. I still hit a lot of sign posts, pedestrians and fire plugs but I'm slowly learning.

The controls are not overly complicated for me and it has a pretty good story if you're into gangster stuff.

The first Mafia is one of my favorites. I did play Mafia 2 a while ago and enjoyed it quite a bit, though it doesn't quite match up to the first one. Still, a lot of fun to play.

Hmm I think Steam has it on sale I might check it out also. Playing them out of order probably won't make any difference.

Wow, right after I posted I started checking and it seems mafia I is pretty hard to find. Steam no longer has it and the only place I could find it was Amazon for $60 so I think I'll just content myself with Mafia II.

Did you try Ebay? You can usually find it there.

Thanks for the tip Pokey I did, in fact, find one on ebay and ordered it. It should be here by the time I finish Mafia 2. Hope it works with win 8 but it was only 10 dollars with shipping.
