I'm probably months behind the new games, but I finished Dishonored Death to the Outsider yesterday (it's not bad at all) and started Prey this morning.

So far I'm enjoying it a lot. More than anything it reminds me of Deus Ex for some reason; probably the neural implant upgrade system with the hacking and sneaking and other cool stuff. I just spent about half an hour cruising around the outside of the Talos space station and what with the fairly realistic controls and the feeling of weightlessness, made myself appropriately sick I've had a few jump scares so far, even in broad daylight.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I think I became addicted to Prey - I played it three times in a row! And I may even be inching towards firing up another game!

Nothing new for me, I'm afraid, all older game re-plays at the moment !!

And mainly Neverwinter Nights right now - because it's one of those, like Morrowind, that I can pick up and play in short bursts at any time because I am so familiar with it lol

I love playing my old games, too. Because I recently only had my tablet with me for a few months I replayed several of the old Black Isle games for Android -- and they work perfectly, like they were made for that platform. I can just pick up my tab and play for an hour.

Yes, I'm already compulsively playing for just another hour, and then just another hour. Really glad I fired this one up yesterday.

I notice there are weapons-free levels you can play. I shudder to think of it. eek I'm still offing Phantoms with my little pop-gun 9mm, but at least it works!

Good combination - glue gun and the 9mm!

I had to laugh when I picked up that crossbow with the foam bolts. I have yet to use it, but since I expanded my inventory space I can afford the room to cart it around with me.

First time I played I thought it was useless, but I definitely did use it a couple of times to remotely trigger something eventually!

So, I have to start again. I ended up in the Arboretum with no ammo and no way to get back out.

I made the mistake of investing heavily in the Hacking skill, and unfortunately I am unable to actually use it -- never seen such a difficult "skill" given that I am level 4 in Hacking and unable to unlock the simplest of locks. It's simply too difficult with a keyboard and mouse.

Next time I'll ignore Hacking completely and invest in some combat skills, since those seem to be the most useful.

I think I'm quite ready for another adventure.

I'm with you on hacking - I did finally get pretty good at it by the third play, but it was never easy. I seem to remember level 4 locks being easier that level 3 locks. I use a CyberSnipa gaming keypad and have gotten fairly good at it with my left hand. But those locks were a pain. I did find a way to get past the one for the Security Room at the bottom of the stairs in the Talos Lobby.

I did like being able to make weapons and ammo from the junk laying around.

Right now I'm replaying Tomb Raider Anniversary on my IMac computer. Last time I played a few years ago I played my Windows disk version. I forgot how hard it is! Do not like the timed parts using the keyboard and mouse. I am nearing the end of Level 13 then it's on to the Final Conflict Level! I'm getting to old for combat! We need "super easy' levels for those of us in our 70s! It would be so nice to be able to go at a our own pace in Tomb Raider!

I never did have the courage to step through that door. Not sure I'd come back out.

I've finally got Skyrim SE up and working well after having to restart twice. frown I love this game. I think if I could choose one RPG to take to a desert island this would be it.
I just can't find any new games that resonate with me. Still looking.

It's a lot of fun. Time flies by while you're playing, but RL is noisy around here so I can't stay there long lol

I still love all things Elder Scrolls. Recently played Oblivion and loved it. Played through Morrowind about a year ago. And Skyrim. Talk about an addiction! Between that and Fallout 4, I was lost.

I am playing Fallout 4 and glad to be back in that world again. At level 28 with Danse as a companion. I like him a lot as he is very good at combat, though not very entertaining. I enjoyed Nick more but he was not much help in combat. We just finished the Castle and will be heading to the institute next. I am looking forward to playing Prey soon.

Been playing Elex...three times. Such a good game. the second time you play this game, you have learned a few tricks, and the beginning is much easier or you use the first beginning to play another faction as in any Gothic game!!! I wonder what the next Elex will bring? The end suggests the next one should be very interesting!
Played Enderal a few times. Even better than Nehrim! Now I am doing Oblivion but I might get bored and not get to the end ( played it too often!)

Jacline, good to hear that you liked Enderal. I loved Nehrim, so I should add Enderal to my to be played list. Also Elex. The Gothic games were favorites of mine.

Glad you enjoyed it. I thought it was great, too.

EDIT: Well, my fascination with Prey was short-lived. In the end the awful map got me confused and frustrated and all the fun leeched out of the game, which became merely an exercise in spending hours running in circles and bashing enemies to death with my wrench because I'm out of resources and patience. Too bad, because this was loads of fun in the beginning.
