Lost in the Arizona Desert
Hi all,

Has anyone heard of this game yet? I just discovered it and from the scenario it looks like something I might like.

In my history of Divine Divinity, I really liked the original, I kind of tolerated Beyond Divinity although not too fond of it and couldn't even finish Divinity II.

So I am cautiously optimistic about their new game. I decided though to take the plunge and support their Kickstarter effort. The site for more info on kickstarter can be found right here.

Since it doesn't have the riding dragons thing it might be something I could complete. Plus, the turned based combat could be good or bad depending on one's attitude about it.

Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.

I have similar thoughts, oldman !!

I loved the first Divinity thumbsup But only liked Beyond Divinity grin

As for Divinity2, I loved the first half of that - but couldn't control the dragon "me" in the second half, and so had to give up on the game.

Turn based combat, however, is something I nearly always use if it's available as it has often been the means by which I've managed to finish an RPG.
[Sadly, because of my at times pathetic fighting capabilities, the number I have actually completed is not huge !! But I do so enjoy the "trying" lol]

Anyway, this new game sounds awesome. I just hope the combat system isn't too complicated rolleyes

My experience is about the same. I love the original so much that I've played at least a dozen times. I was extremely disappointed with Divinity2 when it came out and I gave up after getting killed every time I tried to be a dragon. However I recently bought the Developer's Cut from GOG and I finally began to "get" it. But what I really like is the add on Dragon Knight Saga. This is where the game really came together and had some of the enchantment of the original game. Plus, the DC has a god mode feature which is good because sometimes I just don't feel like getting killed. If Original Sin is as good as Dragon Knight Saga I will be very happy.

A new update to this game's kickstarter page has just been added, dealing with music and stretch goals
