Amazing Anagrams
Anagrams are words or phrases made by transposing or rearranging letter of other words or phrases. This is a list of some pretty dam good ones, obviously there are people out there with way too much time on their hands.

Lets have a look at them...

"Dormitory" - Dirty Room

"Evangelist" - Evil's Agent

"Desperation" - A Rope Ends It

"The Morse Code" - Here Come Dots

"Slot Machines" - Cash Lost in 'em

"Animosity" - Is No Amity

"Mother-in-law" - Woman Hitler

"Snooze Alarms" - Alas! No More Z's

"Alec Guinness" - Genuine Class

"Semolina" - Is No Meal

"The Public Art Galleries" - Large Picture Halls, I Bet

"A Decimal Point" - I'm a Dot in Place

"The Earthquakes" - That Queer Shake

"Eleven plus two" - Twelve plus one

"Contradiction" - Accord not in it

"George Bush" - He bugs Gore

Here are some big daddy ones...

"To be or not to be: that is the question, whether tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune." Anagram: "In one of the Bard's best-thought-of tragedies, our insistent hero, Hamlet, queries on two fronts about how life turns rotten."

"That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind." Anagram: "A thin man ran; makes a large stride, left planet, pins flag on moon! On to Mars!"

"President Clinton of the USA" Anagram: "To copulate he finds interns."

Just before the funeral services, the undertaker came up to the very elderly widow and asked, 'How old was your husband?'
'98,' she replied, 'Two years older than me'
'So you're 96,' the undertaker commented.
She responded , 'Hardly worth going home, is it?

'And what do you think is the best thing about being 104?' the reporter asked.
She simply replied, 'No peer pressure.'

I've sure gotten old! I've had two bypass surgeries, a hip replacement,

Have bouts with dementia ..
Have poor circulation;
Hardly feel my hands and feet anymore.
Can't remember if I'm 89 or 98.
Have lost all my friends. But, thank God,
I still have my driver's license.

I feel like my body has gotten totally out of shape,
So I got my doctor's permission to
Join a fitness club and start exercising.
I decided to take an aerobics class for seniors.
I bent, twisted, gyrated, jumped up and down, and perspired for an hour. But,
By the time I got my leotards on, The class was over.

Aging Women
A woman over 40 will never wake you in the middle of the night and ask, 'What are you thinking?' She doesn't care what you think.

If a woman over 40 doesn't want to watch the game, she doesn't sit around whining about it. She do es something she wants to do, and it's usually more interesting.

Women over 40 are dignified. They seldom have a screaming match with you at the opera or in the middle of an expensive restaurant. Of course, if you deserve it, they won't hesitate to shoot you if they think they can get away with it.

Older women are generous with praise, often undeserved. They know what it's like to be unappreciated.

Women get psychic as they age. You never have to confess your sins to a woman over 40.

Once you get past a wrinkle or two, a woman over 40 is far sexier than her younger counterpart.

Older women are forthright and honest. They'll tell you right off if you are a jerk, if you are acting like one. You don't ever have to wonder where you stand with her.

Yes, we praise women over 40 for a multitude of reasons. Unfortunately, it's not reciprocal. For every stunning, smart, well-coiffed, hot woman over 40, there is a bald, paunchy relic in yellow pants making a fool of himself with some 22-year old waitress. Ladies, I apologize.

For all those men who say, 'Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free? Here's an update for you... Nowadays 80% of women are against marriage. Why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage!

Good morning everyboomie. welcome

Welcome to the weekend! chocobunny

It do feel good to have a Friday night off for a change. dance

I'm still tired and ready for bed at 10:00 though, and that was an hour ago. rolleyes

Some things never change. lol

It may be two hours ago before I finish this post.

Collecting my thoughts has become such an ordeal.

Every night I go from room to room looking under beds, couches, pillows, cushions, in cabinets, and closets, behind books and book cases trying to find them. headscratch

I think they all escape when I'm laying on my side to sleep. They jump outta my ears and flee the scene. shocked

I must sleep standing up from now on. slapforehead

Have a happy day everyone.

Good morning everybody. wave

It's a beautiful morning in this elbow of the woods. smile

It's gonna heat up to about 81 later. Plenty hot enough for me. smirk

I'm going to call on an old home town friend in a little bit, and then do a little digging across the road where I was digging a couple of days ago and found charcoal.

It looks like a spot where the native Americans set up household. thumbsup

I hope you all have a fantastic day. woot

Ana congratulations on the wedding. bravo

Where are you going to honeymoon? wink

Today is 'Food Donation' day for our mail carriers project. They leave us empty bags and we fill them with non-perishable stuff. Gonna be a trick to put out the bags and hope the ants don't get to them. Gee. I may have to wait for him and just hand him the bags. 3 houses, 3 grocery sized heavy bags. Don't envy him on his route today. Good cause though. Goes to homeless shelters, etc.

Project today is replacing the front porch security light. Just have to convince my neighbor/tenant/friend to do it while I watch. rotfl Easier for him to climb the ladder, remove old one and replace than me trying to kill myself and pull muscles and hurt my back.

My TV trial is getting more and more convoluted. Twists and turns and oh so much drama. Too bad it's real life or it would have been a great movie. Then again, it could be someday.

Something in my hallway went 'CRACK' last night. I'm hoping it was a minor house settling (1944) but it sounded so loud. Might be structural stuff? Ugh. I'll just have to wait and see if any cracks appear anywhere. That is, any MORE cracks. Anyone with an old house knows how many there can be. Bad part is that area is wallpapered and I have to see if the paper is torn or squinched sizeways to tell if something is shifting. Oh well, gives me something to do when I'm bored. sherlock

Super Saturday ya'll puppy

Bopped up this morning and started cooking. Made bacon, sausage, grits, pancakes, gluten free pancakes, sunny side up eggs, and over easy eggs. Fed a big crew. Then sweet hubby cleaned up the kitchen and I got coffee and fed dogs and visited.

Now son's SO is getting ready to leave with her kids. I think hubby and daughter's SO are going out to do errands and I'm going to collapse though at some point, I'm going to have to think about supper.

Ana, have fun at the wedding wave

Howdy; much cooler temp, in the low 80's. Great for outdoor work. Maybe someone else is enjoying the 90+ weather we were having.
Watching Rawhide then out to work in the yard.

Have a great day all.

Doing little jobs. My computer had a glitch and my friend finally figured out it was the power supply which was somehow preventing it from turning OFF. Go figure. All better now. He just yanked one out of one of his old computers and did a 'transplant'. Whew.

Also sprayed weed killer on all the weeds growing in the asphalt driveway/parking area. Been putting that off for months. Yuk. Took 3 gallons of the stuff

Now it's rest time. Thank goodness. I've had enough fun for the day. catrub

Hello everyone. wave

I've had a great day. Did some minor chores and then went to visit friends. happydance

My friend's son, from back in my Texas Panhandle stomping ground, showed me some of the artifacts he's been finding not 8 miles from where I grew up. yes

Now I'm thinking I need to plan a trip back home. I haven't been back since 1992. blush

He gave me a big beautiful ax head, made from Alibates flint from the Panhandle. yay

I came back home, and we got a visit from my nephew, also from my home town, and his wife and two little girls.

He also has a huge artifact collection that he found back home, because the guy who gave me the ax head, is his buddy, and got him started head hunting. crazy

After they left I went across the road and dug on the hill for two hours and found nothing but chips. rolleyes

I hope you are all having a nice evening.

joe
