Good morning Joe and Haroula and everybody coming in after me wave

We heard on the news this morning that a terrible storm went over OK. Joe, are you and family still safe? I hope so very much. Do you really have to go to work today? Can't you just stay home till the worst of the storm is over? Nobody will come shopping in a storm eek I pray for all people who suffer from this Tornado.

Lotus: my prayers for your Mum! May she recover quick and fully. I know you must have a heavy heart right now. I know the feeling and I'am thinking of you. Big hugs! Keep us informed. Missed you too yes

Nan: I was jumping right into and under the hot shower yesterday with all the wet clothes still on... lol I hope you got home dry after Bingo. Thanks in advance for the Band kissy

I hope you all will have a satisfying day. Not much on here. Weather still lousy, so it's either cleaning to get the kitchen spick and span... or it's reading "The Hobbit"... Hmmm, what would you suggest?

Love,

Evelyne

Good morning all.

We had a big storm come through St. Louis last night. From what I hear, about 7000 are without power. We are fine. Expecting more this afternoon and evening. We got an inch of rain last night.

Yesterday was something else. First thing I had to do was go get a haircut. At 10:30 we had to take Winston in to the vet. Turns out he has a cracked tooth and infection, so we have him on medication. Can't contact Susie as she is in Dominican Republic on vacation. Got home, grabbed some lunch and about 1:30 got a phone call from ADT Securities. The alarm in Susie's house went off and we are the contact person. They called police and told us to get out there which we did. Checked all around the house, everything looked good. Turned out to be a false alarm. So, that shot the day down. Hope today is quieter.

Don't have anything planned today except to take the dogs for a walk and vacuum up a ton of hair off my living room rug. So, what else is new? lol

Everyone who is in the path of this storm, stay safe.

Have a great day everyone.

Bets

Terrific Tuesday ya'll puppy

Hubby and I popped up bright and early to get the doggies out for their walk. Usually I am the one thinking, "I wonder if I can get hubby to skip this morning" as getting up is the hardest thing I do all day. However, this morning it was hubby thinking that. However, as he didn't say anything I popped up and off we went. Once I'm up and going, I'm good.

So, did 2 1/4miles at the park. I was surprised to see so many folks out there walking that early.

Then home to clean up and feed doggies. Next came our breakfast smoothy experiement of the day, followed by cook book browsing and breakfast.

I must fold and put away Mt. St. Laundry this morning. We are officially out of laundry baskets. lol

The PerBear has a soccer game this afternoon and then we will go zipping from there to our Bible Study. So whew, busy day in the offing!

Good morning boomies. A loud stormy night with crazy lightning. We needed the rain so not complaining.

I want to run the dogs but it's not looking good. The corner is piling up on me so I have to retreat but I wish you all a happy day!

Overcast here. Weird weather. Made me think of the Tornado areas and what they must be going through.

Still hoping the trial I've been watching is going to end today and I won't be tied to my TV. So ready to not have to see the whole scenario. No more stalling I hope.

No fireworks last night! First night in a week that no 'pops' were heard. I'm really hoping the firemen and police gave a stern warning to all they talked to that this will not be tolerated. Crossing fingers since the 4th is coming up soon and it's a biggie for the offenders. I'd love to never hear fireworks within a few houses of me for the rest of time.

Off to watch Tornado and Court. Thank goodness for multiple TV's side by side. Security monitors but I hooked them up to my cable so I can watch everything at once.

WARNING! This person is extremely blonde...please type SLOWLY.

Thank you so much everyone for your well wishes regarding my Mum. She is still with us. Yesterday she was raring to go home which was, btw, a beautiful day. Today is gloomy, windy and raining, Jerry has a cozy fire and she shows no inclination to go home. Whatever she wants!! I am still stunned at the magnitude of those storms and the damage.... The poor horses at that farm are haunting me... You really shouldn't have to work today Joe. I will write you an excuse anytime! Haroula, I hope you are having a great day! Evelyne, I am so happy to hear from you. I wish you safe travels on your way home. Thank you for your sweet words. Maybe you should do a few of your chores to ease your conscience and then The Hobbit. Have you ever read it before? Have you seen the movie? Hellos to Gerry, venus, Gail and Connie, I hope each of you are having a good day. Glad you aren't and haven't been in the paths of the storms Bets. I hope your work day goes fast Darlene. Enjoy the game and your Bible study L4L. Ana, you are so brave. Those types of storms scare me....but then I have to watch. Hope you can come out of your corner soon. Sorta, again, you make me smile! I can just picture this little blondie, surrounded by her kitties watching multiple monitors..super multi-tasker with very rapid neck movements! Nan, I'm glad you can stay home when it is this nasty out..maybe the rains will drive in Spring for you. Hi Space Q, hope you have an enjoyable evening. And I am done. Happy Gaming everyone! wave
