When he arrived at the hotel there was a letter waiting for him that read as follows: Dear Husband (that's what she called him): I too am 54 and by the time you receive this letter I will be at the Breakwater Hotel with my handsome and virile 18 year old toy boy. You being an accountant will therefore appreciate that 18 goes into 54 many more times than 54 goes into 18. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ask Another DoctorThe doctor and his wife were having a heated argument at breakfast. As he stormed out of the house, the man angrily yelled to his wife, "You aren't that good in bed either!" By midmorning, he decided he'd better make amends and called home. After many rings, his wife, clearly out of breath, answered the phone. "What took you so long to answer and why are you panting?" "I was in bed." "What in the world are you doing in bed at this hour?" "Getting a second opinion" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Car ProblemOne day, a mechanical engineer, electrical engineer, chemical engineer, and computer engineer were driving down the street in the same car when it broke down. The mechanical engineer said, "I think a rod broke." The chemical engineer said, "The way it sputtered at the end, I think it's not getting enough gas." The electrical engineer said, "I think there was a spark and something's wrong with the electrical system." All three turned to the computer engineer and said, "What do you think?" The computer engineer said, "I think we should all get out and then get back in." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Good morning everyboomie. I'm staring at the computer screen and getting sleepier and sleepier. I keep shaking my head back and forth, to and fro, trying to stimulate it by making a few brain waves. Now I can't stop it from going back and forth, to and fro. Oh hey I see two squirrels out of my window running through the tree. Wait. It's only one squirrel. My head's still swaying. I thought they were playing leap squirrel. We have black squirrels. Well I'd say they're actually 'off black'. We also have red ones. The off black ones were imported from another country. Colorado I think. Have a happy day everyone. joe

Good morning Joe! I love squirrels. It is my entertainment to watch them during the day while I work. We have red, gray in my yard but I have come across some black ones and they are so cool looking! Unfortunately they do not photograph well because they blend in with the tree trunks. My sister has an albino the frequents her yard. I hope that you have a wonderful day! That goes to everyone else here also.

Hi guys. Just checking in to see who's here already. Thanks Joe for your openers. I swear I don't do all that when I'm at the ATM machine. Just some of it. I hope everyone has a great Thursday. I have to work at 5:00. Midgie

Good morning Boomies Ana: snow? Already?? Yuck!! Yesterday I have attended the first English conversation lesson of the course I applied to on Monday. You know, reading and writing English is not really a problem for me, but speaking it in front of a native English speaking person, well, I'am not so fluent in that. There is also another part of the brain involved I guess in speaking vs reading... So in that course we was (were? have been?) 7 students, approx. on the same level, and we talked about our wishes in live and we discussed a newspaper article. It was interesting . I will attend this course for 17x, every Wednesday over lunch time. I hope I can improve my speaking skill. Ok, here come the long promised pictures of different vistas (and different weathers) from my Italian home: showing off The one with the fire in it is taken during my last pit fire. It's really an amazing view, isn't it?! My plans for today are: lunch with Mum and sis and bro, then appointment with my graphic designer for the invitation card for the Belgium exhibition in December, and in the evening I'll go to the opening of a (painter) friend. Tomorrow I MUST go shopping for 2-3 new trousers. Unbelievable but my winter trousers from last year are to small for me this year. Either I gained weight or the trousers shrinked while hanging in my wardrobe during the summer Could be now, couldn't it? I wish all of you a wonderful and happy day. No cinnamon buns for me today... Love! Evelyne

Good morning again. Ana I didn't get to see my Mom yesterday as I had a killer tooth ache. I'll try again next Wednesday. It's so hard to get to take the trip. It's over hours one way which means I need 4 plus hours on the road and if I have to be on 128 right at traffic jam time I don't look forward to the trip. But I'll try again. Midgie
Just do it.

Haroula, have a happy day! Evelyne, I would never leave your Italy house. I could train for my Spartan races running up and down your hillside. It's just breathtaking! Gerry, you are lucky to have seen the white squirrel. I have only seen one that sis sent me a picture of but I have never seen one in person. Gail, it's a work day and then dance later. What are you up to today? Connie, have a great day. manxman, have a happy day! Midgie, just put some good music on and sing while traveling. That's what I do and the time passes quickly. Hope your toothache is gone today. Darlene, safe skooshing. Nan, what fun plans do you have for today? We have lots of missing diners lately. I hope that Trippy, Venus, niteowl and Sue are all doing well.

YoYoYo everybody. I could copy yesterdays post and paste it here as a carbon copy. It was a beautiful brisk day, and work was the same. One more to go, and that one is a short one. I work 5:00 to 1:00. Then I'm on my weekend. I have to get through one more early night, and early rise first. Evie I absolutely loved your pics. I'm like Ana. I would just live there year round. I'm not too sure about the running up and down the hill though. Yes I am. Karen that's great news about Lucy. Gerry a white squirrel would be cool. I'm not sure I've ever seen one. The black ones first showed up around here only 5 or 6 years ago. Have a great evening everyone. joe

Ohhh dangerous horse riding. The 'snoring' is a result of the tongue falling back and blocking the airway. Common in a fall if the head is in an abnormal position.
Had a great lunch with my teacher friends. 2 of them canceled at the last minute. They had, of all things, food poisoning from whatever they ate this morning. I think it was tacos from one of those 'food service' trucks. Ugh.
Was fun anyway. Lots of laughing and story telling.
Back home now enjoying everything.

Watching the Red Sox 2nd game of the World Series. It's a better game than last night. The Cardinals are not making any mistakes tonight. Should be a closer score. I'll head for bed and watch some more of the game before I fall to sleep. I work early in the morning so I can't stay awake too late. I'll have another split shift tomorrow. It'll be a long day. So I'll just say good night and see you in the morning. God Bless. Midgie
Just do it.
