You're alive. Do something. The directive in life, the moral imperative was so uncomplicated. It could be expressed in single words, not complete sentences. It sounded like this: Look. Listen. Choose. Act.

Just before the funeral services, the undertaker came up to the very elderly widow and asked, 'How old was your husband?'
'98,' she replied, 'Two years older than me'
'So you're 96,' the undertaker commented.
She responded , 'Hardly worth going home, is it?

'And what do you think is the best thing about being 104?' the reporter asked.
She simply replied, 'No peer pressure.'

The nice thing about being senile is you can hide your own Easter eggs.

I've sure gotten old! I've had two bypass surgeries, a hip replacement,
New knees, fought prostate cancer and diabetes
I'm half blind,
Can't hear anything quieter than a jet engine,
Take 40 different medications that
Make me dizzy, winded, and subject to blackouts.
Have bouts with dementia ..
Have poor circulation;
Hardly feel my hands and feet anymore.
Can't remember if I'm 89 or 98.
Have lost all my friends. But, thank God,
I still have my driver's license.

I feel like my body has gotten totally out of shape,
So I got my doctor's permission to
Join a fitness club and start exercising.
I decided to take an aerobics class for seniors.
I bent, twisted, gyrated, jumped up and down, and perspired for an hour. But,
By the time I got my leotards on, The class was over.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

It's scary when you start making the same noises as your coffee maker.

These days about half the stuff in my shopping cart says, "For Fast Relief".

Grant me the senility to forget the people
I never liked anyway,
The good fortune to run into the ones I do, and
The eyesight to tell the difference.

Good Morning Joe, Volkana, Haroula and Cailyn. Joe my mornings wouldn't be the same without you. You make me smile. Volkana we are 6 hours behind you. It's almost 6AM here now so it must be lunch time for you and Haroula. Cailyn I'm ready for coffee. I am also have trouble with not staying signed in on GB. This morning I had to log in again. What seems to be happening is that the "check" mark doesn't stay checked or it "unchecks" itself so it doesn't remember you when you return. Wishing everyone a great day! wave

Have a great day, too, Joe.

Hope work flies by, Volkana.

Have a happy day, too, Haroula.

Sorry you're having trouble signing in, Cailyn. Hope it gets sorted out for you soon.

Sorry you're also having trouble, Gerry. That's interesting, I never have the check mark selected, as I generally like to sign into sites myself. That would definitely be frustrating if you were used to something just signing in for you, though. Hope it gets fixed soon!

Gail, this is definitely the time of year where the weather can't make up its mind. It seems as though one day it will be warm and spring like, and the next day, there will be snow. crazy Hope it clears up for you soon so you and your dogs can have nice weather.

Connie, glad to hear the wedding is coming along. thumbsup

Have a good day at work, Darlene.

Well, it appears I have a mini vacation this week - four days off in a row. It's nice because I have time away from work, but I certainly hope it doesn't become a regular thing, as I need my hours. I may choose to have some days out later in my "vacation," but since it's raining today, I think I'll stay in with my kitties and game. grin

Hope everyone has a great Wednesday. cat

Good morning boomies! I have to rush and jump in the shower and get ready to go get a stress test. We got about 3-4 inches of very wet snow overnight. It's beautiful as it is sticking to all the trees and fences. yay

I too am getting signed out of websites including GB the last few weeks. I thought it was my computer. Must have been an update we did. It is not GameBoomers, it's a lot of other websites as well.

Have a great day!
