It depends on WHY they say they "chased you off the job." What does that mean? Were you fired? Did they give you a reason? Were you laid off? You would need to contact the unemployment office and find out why your unemployment benefits are being denied. I see you are in Georgia, but I don't know where, so you will have to look up the contact information for your local unemployment office.

You might look to see if you have a Legal Aid outlet in your area. They might be able to give you some advice.

You can appeal a decision at your local unemployment office. I know in Illinois, even if you get fired with cause, most will give you unemployment anyways. (My hubby handles the HR at his company). Georgia may or may not have the same leniency. Ana
