hi, i get this message when trying to reinstall disk 2 of The Longest Day. does this mean the disk is kapuut or is there something i can do? robert.

Is the CRC error on the source or the destination?
If it's on the DVD then apart from trying to clean the disk I dont think there's much you can do.

It just means your DVD drive can't read the disc. It could be a bad disc, or it could just be a dirty disc. Check the disc and clean it carefully. A film of oil on the surface might keep it from being read.
